Unacceptable behavior from employee towards female customers:Store manager apologized numerous times for the very disturbing and borderline criminal behavior of one of their former employee. He explained to me in details that he was bound by his corporate policies and procedures as well as by the district manager. Both the employee and the district manager have been fired months after the incident and the store is truly trying to make a wrong right. Unfortunately I have yet to receive a corporate apology. Since this is a store review I will upgrade my rating and transfer the comments to the Goodyear corporate headquarter.My family members have been customers at the Goodyear Ithaca store since 2015. Since 2020 our family has been torn apart by a painful divorce that has been particularly hard on the children, requiring urgent and mental health care. Unfortunately, the situation significantly worsens for my son due to the action of one of the employees at the Goodyear store in Ithaca and the inactions of management and corporate. Aware of the ongoing still active divorce proceedings, one of the employees accessed the store computer to obtain the cell phone number of now my ex-wife to send her unsolicited texts for dating. My son confronted the store manager with screenshots of the employee texts, the store manager promised something will be done and actions taken would be communicated. At first, it appears no action were taken and the employee stayed employed for about 2 months after written proof was provided to the store manager. When my son brought his car for service there, his perception was that he was returned a vehicle with significantly more issues that when brought in…This perception could have been avoided with much faster proactive actions from Goodyear corporate and a formal apology from corporate to my family membersUpdate (July 2023):As per your response I did call and I never received a call back or an apology from corporate. Very disappointing, appears that your corporation did not take the situation seriously nor respect the privacy and federal rights of their customers, borderline criminal....FYI I was in your system, you (corporate) have my phone number in addition to the messages I left, if you really wanted to contact me to get more information, you could have. You clearly had no intention of clearing this situation and just posted a response with a standard message to fool the readers in believing you are genuinely concerned and responsive to the situation. Horrible!Update (September 2023):Store manager did contact me and appear to have genuinely attempted to act but was significantly slowed down by corporate red tape. He informed me that some actions were taken after my complaints, still no contact from corporate and still no apologies from corporate...

Impossible to get assistance from anyone I’ve called every number associated with Corporate. On hold for 35 minutes, I gave up and hung. I’ve tried for days to register my tires on line, system wouldn’t accept dos in the format 06022023?

Really friendly place to work. You are always welcomed very warmly when you arrive. Be sure to be respectful to the security guard. They are human too. I have found when things are not going as planned have a good laugh with them. Things almost always work themselves out. If you are a visitor they don't seem to give out tokens anymore so push the white button and ask to be let out. Be nice to the guy on the other end he is just trying to do a job.

I purchased 4 new tires, installation and front end alignment on the Goodyear website on 8/28/22. I dropped off my truck for the installation at the Goodyear owned store on 8/31/22. I picked up my truck later that morning, and when I pulled out of the parking lot, and went about a block, my driver side rear wheel fell off, went across the oncoming traffic, and hit a store front. Fortunately, no other cars were hit and the no one was injured. I called the store, they sent someone to put the wheel back on, and I drove it back to the store. I was told they would take care of it and let me know when it was done. I picked up my truck right before closing and when driving, I notice I had to hold the steering wheel to the right to get the vehicle to drive straight, and there was a vibration in the rear of the vehicle. I called Goodyear corporate and told them what had happened, and was told to take the vehicle back to the store. After my previous experience, I told them I wanted to take it somewhere else. They gave me a case# and told me they would take care of any problems. I took it to another Goodyear distributor and was told the rear wheel that fell off was damaged and needed to be replaced, and the vehicle would need another front end alignment. After 3 days and another $626.60, I picked up the vehicle and it drove strait, but still had a vibration at highway speed. I called Goodyear again, told them I was taking the vehicle to the Chevrolet dealer for further inspection. I was told they would work with the dealer to solve my problem. I received a call from the dealer, and was told 2 of the new tires were bad and Goodyear was sending them 2 new tires. After a week at the dealer and another $421.14 for the labor, I picked up the vehicle. I also had $514.70 rental car invoice as well and cannot get a return phone call from Goodyear, after being told multiple times they were having their insurance call me. I am out a total of $1,562.44 and countless hours on this ordeal.

Called ahead the day before and was told they look at vehicles on first come first serve basis. All it needed was an inspection. Took it a 8 this morning and was second in line. Gave the guy my info told him I’d wait. 2 hours later I asked for them to give me an estimate as to how much longer it was gonna be. Was told they only had one tech working when there were 5 techs in the Bay Area. Sitting and talking on their cell phones. And that it wouldn’t be until tomorrow. One 30 min job second customer in line on a first come basis.
