Gabe's is awesome. Their brands are great - and cost is very reasonable.
There now building an additional part inside the store towards the back. U get in and out quickly.

When I walk in, they never say a word to me about Trixie,my support dog. Everyone talks to Trixie. The prices are very good and they are always friendly and great you with a smile!

You might trip over clothes that have been thrown around and land on a great deal but plan on hunting for it. Selection has went downhill. Great place to buy socks, boxers, undershirts.

Nothing to the store itself, but definitely need to reconsider the employees they hire. I called in and the lady who answered was EXTREMELY rude. Called to ask if something was in stock before driving an hour to grab it, and I was hung up on. I proceeded to call again to see if the call was dropped, and the call was ignored. Very unprofessional and rude, if you don’t care to be of a customer’s service, DONT WORK IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. I had to call the Elyria location to contact management at the Akron location about this situation. Very disheartening as someone who also works in customer service.

Came to shop for my kids. Clothes was in horrible condition. Finally found somethings. Ask the employee for a fitting room for my kids. (I had my daughter ask the employee for the fitting room) . She replied to my daughter very rudely the fitting rooms are closed. So I went to another employee and ask the same thing and he nicely helped me out. I dnt like people who are rude to customers for no reason.

This store is open until 10:00 p.m. I was there at 9:03 p.m. trying to return an item. The clerk would not allow me to return it, saying "We don't allow returns after 9:00 p.m." FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, IT WAS ONLY 9:03 P.M..!!!! So now I have to make another trip back to this joint just to return my item. My consolation is that it will be my LAST trip to this place. Going forward, I will now shop elsewhere.
So, if anyone wants to return an item at this store, just make sure you are facing the cashier BEFORE 9:00 p.m.!!

So I'm a frequent shopper. Every couple weeks or so I end up spending $50+. I just want to say I love this Gabe's. Kent's is Okay but I'm plus size and I love that this store has a full separate section and it's not just mixed in. Also the staff are always so friendly. There's one cashier in general who I seek out to ring me up because she's awesome! Quick and friendly. Sadly her name isn't on my receipt but she's a middle aged woman with grey hair looks like it probably used to be brown. I come in bout 9 am and she's always there usually the only one up front. She's incredible if Gabe's every looses her they lost a gem! I've been having the worst time finding black shorts that fit my body well and have been in the past 3 days exchanging pairs. Thank you Gabe's for being quick and easy!
