2003 Ford Ranger. Replaced brake lines, transmission filter and fluid, and four new shocks. Checked the vehicle for anything else needed or worn. Did not suggest doing anything that wasn’t needed. Fred was great to deal with. Quick service and good pricing.Services: Brakes

Within days of meeting Fred he did work on my vehicle and I can do things that are simple but I thought it was one thing and he determined it was something else and it was fixed within a short time reasonable charges for the work and he saved my van.Since meeting he has done a timing belt with water pump cam shaft seals crank shaft seal, alternator , the most recent thing he did is fix my sliding door the door would not stay shut. All have been done in a timely manner and efficiently.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Had a very bad coolant leak going on with my car. Called a couple shops and they told me they couldn't take a look at my car for a week and a half. I called Freds Automotive and Fred looked at my car the next day. He was a very friendly gentleman who had one hell of a garage setup and knew alot about cars. I dropped my car off and in about an hour he was getting back to me about the problem. He told me what was wrong with it and what repair costs would be. I asked him if it would even be worth fixing it since it was an older car. This is where he got a customer for life. Instead of trying to get money out of me he told me it would be a waste of money to fix it. The price for the repairs were going to be very reasonable and much cheaper than anywhere else I went. If fixing it would of been worth it no doubt I would of stuck with Freds Automotive . If you are looking for reasonable prices and honesty when it comes to the problem with your vehicle, look no further give this shop a call. I will be going back to this place when car problems come my way, no doubt!!!!! Oh and since I was local and he didnt see my ride back home he even offered to drive me back to my place and drop me off. Now thats customer service!!!!!!Services: Engine repair

Known Fred for years, and he always does a great job. He's worked on all my cars since I was sixteen, and I've never been less than happy with his work. He knows what he's doing, takes care of you, and never tries to up-sell. Can't really ask for more.
