Excellent selection of books and some fun gift items. It’s located in a coffee house with a large parking lot attached. Great coffee!

About Elizabeth’s Bookshop & Writing Centre
Elizabeth’s Bookshop & Writing Centre is a Black-owned bookstore and literacy center that highlights, promotes, and honors the work of writers of color, LGBTQ+, disabled and other marginalized authors who are often excluded from traditional cultural, social and academic conversations. With a regularly rotating catalog of titles, our pop-up shelves exist inside Compass Coffee - a part of The Well CDC - located in the Middlebury neighborhood of Akron, Ohio. A percentage of Elizabeth’s proceeds go towards supporting The Loveland Foundation, Inc. Therapy Fund for Black women, girls, and gender expansive people.
