“In the last few months this store has made so many improvements. The new Manager is very nice. You are greeted when you walked in. The cashier always has a warm smile. I overheard the new Manager chatting with a customer stating how she is working so hard to get the store together for the community.”

“While the standard for orderliness and cleanliness in dollar stores has been extremely low, it was a delight to walk around the aisles to shop at Family Dollar on Main Street today! I couldn't find a thing out of place, the aisles weren't blocked with stock that needed to be put on shelves, all the prices were clearly marked, and the customer service I received was of the highest quality.I shopped there today, Saturday, Nov 11th at approximately 2:30 p.m. I hope whoever manages that store receives recognition as well as the employees who are working so hard there. You all deserve a big fat raise????”

“GAVIN is amazing!! I called ahead and he blew up the balloons I needed for a birthday party. I witnessed him offering a box to a woman buying numerous porcelain cups, bowls and plates. He’s both patient and kind… he was a sunburst of light during a very hectic day. Bravo! ☕️?”

“Just had an issue when there a few weeks ago, standing in line, the place was held up at gun pointNot their fault, it's just an energy drink isn't worth my life”

“I mean it's a dollar general so there's not too much to say, but it's far better than any other dollar general I've been to. It's not super small, it's pretty clean, the staff is pretty friendly and it's easy to locate most items.”

“Joey is always such a pleasure to encounter. The store is well kept and organized. Shows great effort for the staff. As a customer I thank you Al for your hard work.”

“Store is great, Employees are nice and do their best. Just be sure to wear your coat inside - the heat is still not working in the store and it's getting even colder as winter comes.”

“It’s a nice store, in a decent area, i just wish they could solve the staffing issues. The ones they have are great, friendly and professional. But the store can’t stay open its hours.”

“Best Dollar General clearance section i have ever seen. It took up 3 aisles. Other than that the walkways were very narrow and I think they only had one person working in the whole store”

“Once you understand Dollar Tree, you can love Dollar Tree. The extra .25 they added to the prices has provided a terrifying boost to merchandise quality. Dollar Tree is Party City if you're not an idiot, and also you need a lined notebook for work. Oftentimes the merch here was once much more than $1.25 at one point in its existence at some other store, which is a solid reminder that the monetary value of items is arbitrary and none of this is real. Unlike Planet Fitness, Dollar (Twenty-Five) Tree is the true Judgement-Free Zone. I dare someone to look down on me whilst in there. I dare myself to do the same. In Dollar .25 Tree, we are all equals. There is no class system, no war. We can all afford something in there and we all smell that toxic odor wafting into our bloodstreams from the tremendous selection of holiday home decor. Let me put out some little Christmas trees and you try to tell me they're not from Target. You can't. Also, get out of my house, this visit is over. This one has a greeter at the door and I truly think she is one of the reasons Dollar Tree rises above other discount retailers. She reminds you that you're human during an errand where you might forget. At Dollar Tree you can find your 4th grade home room teacher and 6 women on an extended cigarette break. You can find accessibility to excess and you can say no to it. Don't buy the eyeshadow. Do buy the dish washing gloves.”

“My personal review varies depending on location. 5 stars definitely goes to the locations of Cleveland Avenue in Uniontown, Ohio (closest one to 619/turkey foot rd.), also the one on route 43 in/near Randolph Ohio (close to the route 43/I-224 intersection), and lastly both locations on Cleveland massillon rd. In Norton, Ohio. However, S. Main st location in akron, Ohio could definitely improve primarily on organization in regards to stocking placement. Aside from that being said keep up the great work employees!”

“I went to this store to return a private brand item that I had purchased at a different DG 20 miles away. The item had not been used and I had the receipt. I was told I would have to take the product to the store where I purchased the item. Considering that DG is not a franchise but is in fact a corporation, I called their corporate Customer Service line where they briefly researched the policy and then stated "Dollar General brand items must be returned to the store where purchased. However, private name brand items can be returned to any DG store in the US for full refund.'

This was one of two DG in my neighborhood that gave me the same runaround. Both stores had very friendly staff that wanted to help me but felt their hands were tied. Dollar General...Train your staff!!!”

“I received very high quality service from your representatives. The store was very well organized. It's very close to home for me so I will definitely be back regularly ?”

“Not a regular shopper but will go when I need something in bulk for cheap. Decent selection of drawer organizers. Workers are so friendly at this store but overworked. I wish the shelves would be neater but they don't have time to straighten up, just restock. Shoppers could help by putting things back where they found them.”

“It's a great store, friendly store, but they need to have two checkout counters open most of the time when there's only one usually open... They have a self check out also but it only takes debit credit cards...”

“The times I have visited this store while open the staff were friendly, as well as the store was decently kept organized. There were alot of packages that weren't stocked yet, but overall the store seemed clean. I think maybe once they hire any needed staff alot of issues would be resolved.”

“My local DG. It's pretty good considering it's location. It takes longer to get restocked than DGs closer to the city's heart. The staff are hit or miss, just like anywhere else. I've met some great cashiers and clerks there and I've also had the displeasure of being attended by some real lazy jerks. I've been going here for 5 years and for the most part everyone has been nice and helpful.”

“Well, it's a basic neighborhood dollar store. You can see/buy anything from a cheap lookin outfit- ground beef- cleaning supplies-Easter baskets-aux cord. lmfao ??‍♀️ I just passed through for a snack run on our movie night. There are these 1$ onion ring chips that my mom used to get for me since I was a kid here. They hold a special piece of my heart so if u like funions try them. . Cashiers are super polite and normally make lit conversation. Wear a mask.”

“Great location I'm trying to learn the setup! Awesome employees something wasn't ringing up right I offered to go take a picture of the sign. The lady said it's OK I'll fix the price!”

3.3 Good46 Reviews

“It's a nice little family Dollar franchise the people who work there are nice I wish the shelves would stay full they sell stuff so fast and then it takes him forever to get something back in. Otherwise I'm just grateful it's still in the neighborhood since most of the other stores are closing in the area where the family Dollar is located....”

“The store rep's are well versed in knowing where items are to assist you in finding items you need. Most of all they're focussed on giving you the service that'll spark your desire to return.”

“I went there when they first opened and I left there very disappointed. I stopped in tonight and was quite impressed. Good selection and prices are all right. My kids have turned me into a Dollar tree expert. The girls were ecstatic about the makeup aisle.”
