“Big Lots is an interesting place to shop. Not a bad place to start if you need something specific, just to see if they have it, as the prices are usually a bargain. I can usually find a few organic staples after a little stroll through the food department and a household goods search usually leads to a few great items for my kitchen. The aisles aren't too difficult to maneuver for my husband's travel wheelchair, which is nice, because he loves perusing the aisles for things we might need as well. All in all, Big Lots is a great place to search for bargains.”
“What a great little store to find unique items. They have a floor selection that ranges from furniture to toys, and images of larger items that they can't fit on the floor for viewing. Would definitely recommend checking out this place. ?”

“You can acquire grocery items, some name brand, others not, at a significantly reduced price. I purchased Nathan's Beef jumbo hot dogs and thin center cut pork chops at a really good price. Take your own bags and prepare to wait a bit longer in line. It's worth a visit regardless of your financial circumstances.”
“Save-A-Lot is a decent lower cost than average larger supermarkets. They have many low priced and save a lot branded items you can get basically all your friends and vegetables and snack foods alone with milk and soda and freezer foods, and also meat's but I prefer meat's at a higher quality store. Most basic necessities can be found here though”

“In the last few months this store has made so many improvements. The new Manager is very nice. You are greeted when you walked in. The cashier always has a warm smile. I overheard the new Manager chatting with a customer stating how she is working so hard to get the store together for the community.”
“While the standard for orderliness and cleanliness in dollar stores has been extremely low, it was a delight to walk around the aisles to shop at Family Dollar on Main Street today! I couldn't find a thing out of place, the aisles weren't blocked with stock that needed to be put on shelves, all the prices were clearly marked, and the customer service I received was of the highest quality.I shopped there today, Saturday, Nov 11th at approximately 2:30 p.m. I hope whoever manages that store receives recognition as well as the employees who are working so hard there. You all deserve a big fat raise????”
“Many times, less advertised store brands can meet your expectations and thus save you money while having it's own distribution system sustain availability. You get that with Save A Lot. I start there for many primary food sources and budget accordingly with great satisfaction. These days, with inflation raising food prices, this may become a necessity for an increasing majority of shoppers. Fear not, you won't be disappointed here.”

“I mean it's a dollar general so there's not too much to say, but it's far better than any other dollar general I've been to. It's not super small, it's pretty clean, the staff is pretty friendly and it's easy to locate most items.”
“I went to this store to return a private brand item that I had purchased at a different DG 20 miles away. The item had not been used and I had the receipt. I was told I would have to take the product to the store where I purchased the item. Considering that DG is not a franchise but is in fact a corporation, I called their corporate Customer Service line where they briefly researched the policy and then stated "Dollar General brand items must be returned to the store where purchased. However, private name brand items can be returned to any DG store in the US for full refund.'
This was one of two DG in my neighborhood that gave me the same runaround. Both stores had very friendly staff that wanted to help me but felt their hands were tied. Dollar General...Train your staff!!!”

“My personal review varies depending on location. 5 stars definitely goes to the locations of Cleveland Avenue in Uniontown, Ohio (closest one to 619/turkey foot rd.), also the one on route 43 in/near Randolph Ohio (close to the route 43/I-224 intersection), and lastly both locations on Cleveland massillon rd. In Norton, Ohio. However, S. Main st location in akron, Ohio could definitely improve primarily on organization in regards to stocking placement. Aside from that being said keep up the great work employees!”
“Best Dollar General clearance section i have ever seen. It took up 3 aisles. Other than that the walkways were very narrow and I think they only had one person working in the whole store”
“The times I have visited this store while open the staff were friendly, as well as the store was decently kept organized. There were alot of packages that weren't stocked yet, but overall the store seemed clean. I think maybe once they hire any needed staff alot of issues would be resolved.”
