My boyfriend and I, not 5 minutes ago, purchased a faulty elf bar vape from Cheap Tobacco in Ravenna, Ohio. We were not informed by the sales associate that if we leave the premises, we can not return the faulty vape. we took 2 steps outside to test it (in a post-covid world, we did not know if we were allowed to vape in the store) and realized it didn't work. It did not fire or charge. We requested an exchange for a vape that works, and the associate refused because we left the premises. She did not tell us to test it before leaving the premises, even though she insists that she did. I also bought a vape at the same time, and can confirm that she did not tell either of us to test it, or inform us about the return policy about leaving the premises. If I was informed to test the vape before leaving, I would have. I am not returning to the premises until the issue has been resolved.
