I've been a customer at Buckeye Vet for over 10 years .Very happy with the service ,Never had a balance! *Until today ! I have a new puppy and I scheduled a appointment in August ,I got sick and had to cancel, *I rescheduled on 9/19/2023 ,I called the Day before cause it was weekend to tell them I had Covid and was sorry I had to reschedule and ,They weren't happy! *I as well as my 2 boys have Covid. And I couldn't get my puppy to them (Didn't want them to be exposed) So I was TOLD that from now on I am have to put a deposit down if I want to schedule a appointment I've been with them for approx. 10 years that they lost 6 appointment because ,I canceled! She was very as a mater of fact! its not like I had a habit of canceling.( Example if I was to put a deposit down and got covid I would have lost my deposit for something I had no control over)! And I called the day before to cancel ,BUT how was I to know I was going to get Covid. I AM VERY UPSET! ,the person I talked to was not very nice ! So after deep consideration I will NOT be going back nor Family member's , I hope they are nice to other sick people !

We recently adopted 2 senior dogs, and I'm so glad I found this vet. They are very responsive to both emails and phone calls. Everyone I have interacted with has been friendly and professional. You can tell they really love animals.

Where do I begin, I truly cannot sing their praises enough. Everyone in the office has been amazing, I know I'm omitting names and I'm sorry but Kait, Liv, and Sam have been angels. Dr Faulkner has truly taken care of all of our babies and most recently our old girl who had a bout of cancer. They're so accommodating and kind and helpful taking the time to address any concerns and help our baby in any way they can. So grateful we were able to find such a great veterinarian and clinic staff. Even just cute little extras to make us smile and feel more at ease with the entire process. We are so grateful for them!

This place is amazing! My 6yr old dog was going back and forth the Vet in Avon Lake for a month and was told he just has anal gland issues. I moved to Portage Lakes when all this was going on. I was referred to Buckeye.. 1 visit they knew something wasn't right because all of his Lymph Nodes were swollen. We found out he has Lymphoma Cancer! I'm so thankful to the staff and Dr. Vega for their patience with us and take their time with us. Any time we call and have concerns they give us answers on the spot. If anyone ever asks what Vet to go to this is the place!

Got an appointment where I was able to go in with my cat. Of course had to have a mask & social distance, but I was happy to be able to go in.

I had to find a new veterinarian because of the hours, I found buckeye vet , There very friendly, they make you and my dog feel at home, the vet and staff are excellent, I definitely recommend buckeye vet clinic

I'd been going to a nearby veterinary hospital in South Akron for many years because of their alleged bargain prices and multi-generational years of experience. When my 12+ year old doggo stopped eating, and no appointments were available, I was forced out of my mediocre comfort zone into trying to find another urgent care vet. This is now the only place I will ever go. I didn't realize how UN-compassionate, un-bargain, and unsanitary the former vet was until I came here on one of the saddest days of my life. The facility is quaint, clean, and just has that cozy feeling. I didn't get the outcome I was praying for that day, but I met the best veterinarian in the world, so that's something to write about. Dr Cummings and her staff helped me make the hard choice a lot more bearable, and was more affordable than expected for a new patient and many, many hours spent in a tear soaked exam room past closing time.

My name is Debbie Wilkinson and this has been years coming because I was not computer literate. but today when i see this on line where i can make a review i will. I rate no stats but it made me at least place one star to be able to tell people my story. A few years ago i was going to leave my vet to go to Buckeye because it was very close and they seemed nice and loved animals when i took my animals in. But shortly after changing vets my boxer JOE BOXER was having a seizure and i called to get him in as an emergency. Right off they said yes and within a minute they called back to tell me they didnt have the medication to bring him out of a seizure. Really this is a vet? I took him to my Dr Terrehay at Barberton vet which was ten minutes away and he died as we pulled in the driveway. Shame on Buckeye vet. a day or so later a tech called to see how he was and told him he died. Vet never had the bedside manners to call herself. She sent a card and i refused it!!!Again this is Debbie Wilkinson not David
