4015 Medina Rd, Akron“I'm pretty much a regular at this Barnes & Noble, and it’s my go-to spot for the best manga selection I've found anywhere. Honestly, no other bookstore comes close. The staff is extremely helpful and kind. It's just such a cozy spot for anyone who loves books. You feel it the moment you walk in. Plus, they've started this new stamps program that’s actually worth signing up for. A lot of these store rewards programs feel kind of pointless, but this one’s different, especially for someone like me who spends a lot of time and money on books. It feels good to get actual credit that I can use towards future purchases.”
“As a fan of Rachel’s I just had to make the trip to her amazingly thoughtful shop while visiting from Portland, Oregon. Jillian and Julia were unbelievably helpful and absolutely lovely and I loved all of the products on display from local artists!”
“What a strange and funky place! I’ve never seen a bookstore done on the honor system, and it’s a really neat, unique experience. I didn’t end up buying anything, but I really enjoyed stopping in to browse.”
“Store Manager went out of her way to help me a Disabled Veteran get my voucher for my books from the VA. Her customer service far beyond what anyone could expect.Much appreciated”
“I have been a customer for 30 years, sure they may not have what you want, and the prices are retail. This is a small family owned store, not Amazon. But unlike Amazon, the store has friendly, knowledgeable staff, you can see and handle your prospective purchases, and they are willing to special order what they don't carry. A beautiful little niche store carrying books, statues, jewelry, rosaries, CDs, etc.”
