“Buckeye state credit union is great! They caught on to suspicious activity on my account and quickly put a stop to it and made sure my account was safe. Everyone I have interacted with at the Akron branch, either in person or over the phone, has been nothing but nice and helpful. I have been a member since I opened my first checking account at age 18 and I have always had a great experience with you guys. “Wonderful Group of staff! They were all very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful! They made setting up my account and app so smooth and easy it was wonderful! I really want to give the bank 5 stars the only reason I can’t is because of the ATM, there’s no option to make deposits! With the banks limited hours, unless you work or live close enough that you can run over during your lunch break like I have to do since I work Day shift this is a big inconvenience and I hope this option becomes available on their ATM in the future! It would then be the perfect bank! Overall I love it here! :)”

“I have been a member since I opened my first account back In 1971 when I was 12 years old. Back then it was The St. Paul's Credit Union before they merged with Ohio Catholic FCU back around 2016. Can't beat the family atmosphere and stress free environment of a Credit union. Best financial institution for personal loans, mortgages CDs, you name it. “If you live in the Akron are, you need to have an account with Peoples Bank. I was from out of town and needed assistance with a transaction & the team at Peoples was absolutely spectacular. This branch has a hometown feeling and I was treated like a local long-time customer. The Branch Manager, Ann went completed out of her way to ensure all my need were met. It is rare theses days, but she exceeded all of my expectation. If you have ever felt like your Bank treats you like a just name & number, go see Ann at Peoples.”

Have you checked your monthly bank fees lately? I just scored waived fees with a "One Deposit" account. (Technically there is a small fee, but Citizens offers a super easy work around "one deposit" that waives those fees if followed. We're talking set up auto transfer for $1 or more monthly and done. Qualified.)
Take the time to see if Citizens can help you Save on your monthly fees, I'm glad I did!!
Last, I find their mobile app is well laid out and easy to use. I've used it for over 6 years now and love it.”

“I wanted to highlight my recent experience with Chase Bank, particularly regarding a hold placed on a check deposit. Initially, the 11-day hold felt prolonged, but Quinn Alberty, an outstanding employee, swiftly addressed my concerns.
After contacting Quinn on Monday, he promptly expedited the hold removal process. Within hours, he personally informed me that the hold would be lifted by day's end, granting me access to the funds by Tuesday morning. Quinn's proactive approach and dedication were commendable. Thanks to his exceptional service, I could proceed with my financial needs without delay. I also spoke with Elizabeth Salas who is the Branch Manager at this location and expressed my sincere appreciation in helping get this issue resolved.
