We were there for a romantic weekend but this was the most disgusting place we have ever stayed! Musty sheets, fireplace not working, disgusting brown crap coming out of the jacuzzi (after third attempt to flush out the jets we gave up) and not even a coffee in the morning but tbh we probably wouldn't have drank it considering the how dirty the place is! Do not recommend.

Their website states they are a 5 star bed and breakfast but it looks far from it. Yes, the building looks charming and our room was ok but that's it. It needed a good cleaning. I could see cobwebs on the lamps and dust on top of the bed posts in our room. We were never able to make the fireplace work. The lock on our door was very loose and anyone could get in and out of the building by the front or side door without anyone noticing. The person that welcomed us was friendly but he was dressed in a hoodie, sweat pants and flip flops. It didn't give a good impression. We decided to forgo the breakfast after reading some of the past reviews. There was a BMW parked in the driveway with the backside rammed in. It's been there for a while because there were also cobwebs on it. Again, not a great impression.Apparently this building was sold late 2019 and since then, it's been let go. It desperately needs a refresh.

I'm a 4 1/2. I booked online and found the site confusing. I got a very good price, but had no idea what kind of room I would get. In fact, the room was a lovely Victorian room on the second floor with a beautiful modern bathroom (took me a while how to make the complicated shower work). The room and the place overall was clean. The gentleman at the desk spoke very little English but was very nice and accommodating. As nearly as I could tell, he was the only staff person there. He took our breakfast order and cooked it.If we go back to Wolfville, we would stay there again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Victoria's Historic Inn in picturesque Wolfville, NS. The Inn's charm and lavish decor truly transported me back to the 1893 era, belonging to a prominent businessman. The exceptional service provided by the staff added to the overall delightful experience. However, while the Inn exuded beauty and history, the room I stayed in was a bit disappointing. It lacked the same level of opulence as the rest of the Inn, and the "jacuzzi" in the bathroom underperformed and emitted an annoying sound. Additionally, I encountered some minor security concerns, as the deadbolt lock on the door did not function optimally, and the chain lock was installed incorrectly.Despite these room-related hiccups, I must say that the overall experience was truly memorable. The Inn's historical charm, excellent service, and picturesque location outweighed the room issues. With a few improvements to the rooms, Victoria's historic inn could easily become a perfect destination for an unforgettable stay.

I am sorry to say that Victoria's Historic Inn should stop offering service. They tarnish the image of a charming, wonderful city of Wolfville. The place is not being maintained, dust everywhere. The rooms are not well kept. Even outside of the building, it looks like it is deserted place. I would advise the hotel management to take it out of booking and start renovating the place. I also advise travellers to avoid booking this place. There are a lot of other places in Wolfville that you will enjoy staying.

"I had the pleasure of staying at Victoria's Historic Inn for one night and it was truly a delightful experience. The inn is charming and full of character, and my room was cozy, clean, and comfortable. The staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The location is also perfect, with easy access to the shops and restaurants in Wolfville. I highly recommend Victoria's Historic Inn for anyone looking for a charming and relaxing stay in the area."

Booked a night here and was not really impressed. While historic building is charming there are a number of improvements to be made. The room was dated and did not seem like it had been recently cleaned... It had a broken A/C unit and the shower head sprayed water everywhere including onto the light fixture. There was no soap or toilet paper in the bathroom either.I expected the building's age to show but I was pretty disappointed with the service. The price included breakfast but the little breakfast area was dirty, glasses didn't look like they had been properly washed, milk for the tea/coffee was old and warm, and some old napkins and food was still on the floor from the day before. Also, there was no one there when I was supposed to check in. I waited for almost 20 minutes to show up after I called the reception desk. It's a shame that such a nice building isn't being treated with the care it deserves. I won't be returning for a second stay here.

Victoria's Historic Inn in Wolfville is a hidden gem that takes you back in time with its beautifully restored Victorian charm. The attention to detail, impeccable service, and delightful breakfast made our stay unforgettable. A truly exceptional experience that we can't wait to repeat.

Zero for cleanliness, there was years worth of dust clusters under the bed, along with small necklace beads from someone's broken necklace and a small 2 inch square of a green garbage bag. OUT OF 5 PILLOWS ONLY 1 HAD A PILLOWCASE. The public bathroom on main level was disgusting and the dirt was everywhere and old caked on dirt. The staff member had been on duty for hours by this time so did not care and there was no hand dying other than a roll of toilet paper in the vicinity of the sink. The hand towel dispenser was empty. There were dirty carpets, dirty table cloths so we did not want to even try the food.

Room was dirty when I arrived. Toilet had urine on the base, and a ring of urine in the bowl. No facecloths. One used towel and one ‘clean’ one. Dust on every surface. Very limited hours for breakfast. Thermostat set to 95 F.Rooms: Stay somewhere else!

We had stayed here 6 years ago and loved it. The inn itself is nice, but has badly deteriorated. Our room, while bright and nice looking at first glance, was filthy. First step into the bathroom, there was a plastic champagne glass on the floor. Towels clean but old and threadbare. Tub and sink were clean. Area rugs and floors were filthy, looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in ages. Dust everywhere, cobwebs in corners and closets. Sheets appeared to be dirty, and very old at least. The caretaker was nice, but at no time did we hear or see him cleaning. The bathroom in the main entry area was filthy—sink almost brown it was so dirty, mirror had old water/splash marks all over it, nothing was clean. Breakfast was included but we skipped it. Even the automatic coffee maker was so dirty, it had layers of dried coffee all over it. The whole dining area was dirty—side table, dining tables had dirty table cloths over them. No way we were eating there. Do not recommend.

Stayed here pre-covid and am very disappointed in latest stay here (Jan 2023). Room is very small and dark. Had to re-arrange furniture and unplug side lights making it darker) to have a place to put and charge a phone and tablet. Floors are not clean, carpets are worn out and wall dirty / need painting. Talking with staff feels like you are disturbing them. Limited standing headroom in bathroom.

Room is very dated, dirty towels, carpet not vacuumed, tv the size of a iPad with crooked tv stand. Bedsheets didn’t stay on bed. Facecloths and bath mat over used. No one at reception pass 9 pm, no one at reception when checked out. We aren’t fussy people, we won’t be staying there again.
