A spectacular piece of relaxing paradise in Wolfville.
The historic buildings and the grounds are incredibly well maintained.
The hospitality of the whole team is outstanding. It's clear they are there for your comfort and relaxation.
The on site dining is an added bonus. Great menu, with an emphasis on seasonality and local. The wine list is one of the best in NS . Mike the sommelier is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He loves sharing his cellar.
The service is amazing. Congenial ,knowledgeable and helpful.
We were lucky to have Reece as our server. Made the experience even more enjoyable.
A 5 star experience for my wife and I

The Blomidon is an institution in the Valley. It has been known for decades for it's outstanding table. I have never been disappointed by them. We have come for small meals and significant family events and everything is always perfect. Seafood is awesome. Dessert is excellent. Touch of Amaretto on lemon ice is a thrilling little plate cleanser that must be experienced.
Food & drinks: Elegantly presented, varied and fresh. Well worth the trip.

We had a fabulous dinner at the Blomidan Inn. Impeccable service and food. Matt was a fantastic server and made sure the meal paced perfectly. We started with the maple salmon and strawberry feta bruschetta - both were full of flavour and perfectly balanced. For mains we had the halibut, and scallop pasta. Again, both dishes were flawless. For dessert, we had the lemon Brule, which was a perfect blend of smooth and creamy with tart lemon curd. Special call outs for the homemade brown bread, Summer Berry Sangria, and the lemon sorbetto with Amaretto (brilliant) pallette cleanser. Highly recommend!

The main building is spectacular, with high ceilings and exceptional Victorian decorative details in the old house. The extensive grounds have beautiful gardens. There are a variety of rooms; mine was in the old house and it was comfortable and well furnished. The price is good--at the time I was booking my trip, it was considerably less expensive than hotels in Halifax that have much less character. I plan to stay there again the next time I travel to the area.
Noteworthy details: There are a number of public or shared sitting areas with books--just outside my room was a small library of books with a nautical theme.

Blomidon Inn is a regal inn surrounded by lovely, well-maintained grounds. It really reminded me of an English manor when we pulled up to the building.
The interior is just as grand – so much so that you sort of don't want to raise your voice above a whisper on the off-chance that you're disturbing some Lord's tea time. We were given the option to dine here but opted to go into town instead.
Our room was clean and bright, and the bed was comfortable – that's all you can really ask for. Halls and walls aren't overlooked here either, so there's always something interesting to see on your way to and from your room.
Walkability: Restaurants and pubs are about a 10-15 minute walk from the inn. Lightfoot & Wolfville Vineyards is about 20 minutes away.
Food & drinks: There's a complimentary continental-style breakfast available in the dining rooms

Beautiful building, excellent staff and service.
Ordered the filet medium rare. It came out medium well. Poorly seared, it looked like a nondescript, grey piece of meat both inside and out, and was terribly dry for beef tenderloin filet. Very disappointing. I didn't complain as we were in a large group and I didn't want to upset our party.
Sides were excellent, but the steak was definitely not cooked by an expert steak chef.

Absolutely beautiful historic building. Booked the honeymoon suite and got a free upgrade to the executive suite because there was construction going on throughout the day.
The executive sweet was like your own very small appartment, with a cute gas fireplace , small but cozy living room.
The bathroom had a shower and a jacuzzi which was very nice.
The dining experience was 5 star, and very reasonably priced. Lots of drink options, and great friendly service.
Overall would not hesitate to stay here again, and I'm sure I'll be back at some point.

We went there with friends for Valentine's, we had dinner and it was first class. We all then stayed for the night, we had breakfast in the morning. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Wolfville area.
Food & drinks: The food is delicious and the service is top notch.
