This place would've been a 4/5 easy.
Used to be a place I've gone to for years. Would drive down from Halifax a few times a month to get jerky, donairs, or ice cream.
Not sure what happened since covid but the quality and quantity of everything drastically went downhill and the prices skyrocketed. Guessing new management or owners or something. Greed seemed to get in the way for sure.
The last 4 or 5 visits all have been really awful and it bums me out that I have to drop this store from my usual spots because of it.

We got two donair plates that were delicious! I appreciate Maddie taking the time to explain the toppings on the plates and being patient with us while we chose ice cream sandwich cups. Also thank you for redoing the debit machine so I could leave a tip as well. It was clear she was done with the day and ready to go home...I was a new to the place customer. Delicious ice cream sandwich cups too! Definitely will come back

I love the food here, I love sitting at the tables in the back and witnessing the chaos of this place on the first day of summer. Great people and great food. Thanks for the massive softserve on this smoking hot day

Go here frequently and spend lots of money generally okay, however today I wasn't given any donair sauce for my donair. Had a 20 minute drive home, go home to eat it and there is no sauce so I ask for a partial refund to drive back. I was offered $2.00 haha.
After this experience I wouldn't advise anyone to go there.

Everything is good from the breakfast menu to lunch. I love everything they serve. We stop in every single time from the city! Definitely order a head if you don’t want to wait but they are worth the wait anyway?

Amazing Takeout Food. Burgers are to die for, Donair is amazing. The deli meats are great and they sell ice cream too. You can't beat a stop in after work for a quick order or on a hot day. Keep them in mind for a Family Picnic day too. The Staff is great. Just a good store all around.

I was visiting from out west and this place was on the way during my many trips into Halifax. It’s a typical convenience store with the added bonus of a kitchen where you can order burgers, donairs, sandwiches and much more. Stopped twice for a cold cut sub. Those are delicious and always people picking up or waiting on orders. The store looks like a busy spot. They also have a dairy bar. Love their ice cream. If you’re in the area, it’s worth a stop.

Best ice cream in all of Nova Scotia. The ice cream cakes are so yummy and affordable. Their homemade ice cream sandwiches are to die for !!! Even their food is top notch. My fave place and will make a 3 hour round trip just to come here!!!!! I order my bday cake here yearly and bring it back in a cooler lol. So worth it. Customer service is always amazing as well.

After 10 months of being a regular customer for ice cream sundaes. Was given a sundaes that barely a small. When I stated that is was not a large. I was told that the ice cream melted after the hot fudge was put on. . Then was asked "when was the last time you were here " ? . Last week I replied.. very disappointed in the way we're treated and talked down to.. Won't be back. You lost 3 regular customers tonight.

Donair! Get the donair! We have been gone from N.S. for 22 years, since we got back we needed a true donair fix and we tried everywhere. Swinimers wins for one main reason that impacts so much. They make it in-house. It looks like it, it tastes like it, it feels like it, and it's great. The meat is seasoned perfectly, the sauce it not too sweet with a great balance. Love it love it love it.
