I was followed an talked about they weren’t to shy hiding it I recently just lost my husband an maybe I looked like a dummy but my mind’s elsewhere you never know what someone is going threw I’d have to say the worst sports check by far I was so disgusted I didn’t even make my purchase I was so humiliated I went to the car an cried I cry enough because of my own life problems I’m a mother of 5 an I just wanna say shame on the staff in your store very rude unhelpful an just plain cruel they know how to make someone feel 2 feet high I think you need new staff absolutely disgusting service I’m from outta town visiting an you just put a sour taste in my mouth I will have nothing good to say about turo

Horrible service. So painful to get any of the young employees to assist. They prefer to just stay at a distance and stare without offering any assistance. I just stood in the shoe section for 20 minutes while 3 of them sheepishly walked by making minimal eye contact. Pro tip: it doesn’t hurt to be proactive and simply ask of customers need anything.

Visited sport chek in Truro today May 23 , 2023 , poor service poor selection, me and my lady looked looked for jogging pants for at least 20 minutes , could not find a soul to help us , went down to Winners in the same mall received great service purchased 4 pairs of Adidas jogging pants spent 300.00 , Never again , shop elsewhere.

While travelling in Truro I had messed up my sneakers, needed a new pair! Jumped into sportchek, snagged me a new pair of runners to go on with my day!Staff was polite and assisted me as needed.

Me and my friend visited store on feb 28 around 4:40 pm.We were looking for the shoes for my buddy. The guy who was working there was very nice and polite and helped us lot to find perfect pair of shoes for my buddy.When we were checking out the girl at counter was very arrogant and made us feel that she was doing us favour by ringing in. I said hi to her as we approached counter as good gesture.she didn’t even responded to me.there was other girl that came to discount our shoes for price match she was arrogant as well she finished our order and just said this is your bill.I didn’t buy anything but this was very insulting, rude and discriminative for me and my friend.

The Truro store is my go to store for everything sporty I need, from sneakers to clothing for myself and family. The staff are knowledge, friendly and always happy to help. Highly recommended, their customer service is second to none.

I’m touring North America and need new hiking shoes. They have an entire wall of hiking shoes and boots for men. Not one hiking shoe or boot for women. Apparently women don’t hike in Nova Scotia.

By far the friendliest and most helpful Sportchek staff I've encountered, especially compared to the Halifax stores. The store is a little on the small side but I still managed to find a waterproof jacket, on sale at that! Could use a few more mirrors around, but I made do. They'll mail you your receipt to cut down on paper.
