Awesome service today with Chris & crew!
While traveling, i noticed a loud squeak coming out of one of my tires. Not wanting to take a chance on safety to get home, i stopped at Kal Tire - Truro. They tested the car on the spot, made a diagnosis quickly, did the repairs and sent me on my way. I'm now relaxed to go on with my travels safely! Thank you guys! I'm so grateful for your help today!

I had an outstanding experience at Kal Tire in Truro, NS. While traveling from Nova Scotia back to Ottawa, I noticed a noise coming from my back left tire. Despite being a traveler in need, other garages couldn't help without an appointment. However, the team at Kal Tire immediately attended to my car, diagnosed, and fixed the issue in no time, all while juggling their existing workload. To my surprise, they did this free of charge, demonstrating genuine kindness and professionalism. I highly recommend Kal Tire for their exceptional service and compassion. Thank you for turning a stressful situation into a positive experience!

Three strikes your out for Kal Tire.
1. Called about Michelin tires shown online with price that was better than costco and was told - "no stock in any of our warehouses, no delivery time estimate". I inquired about what they could recommend for a similar tire but apparently they have nothing standard to recommend for my 1/2 ton that drives on regular roads. Purchased the tires I originally inquired about from Canadian tire the next day for less than Kals price online.
2. Called to inquire how long my appointment would take to help plan my day. They said " oh yeah we meant to call you and cancel your appointment - we don't know how you booked it online as we have no mechanic in for the service". I reluctantly rebooked with the sense the shop isn't fully organized.
3. Kal called on date of appointment a week later to tell us they had to cancel on us due to no technician.

Great experience start to finish. They were able to order tires for me that I was having trouble finding anywhere else.during the appointment it was discovered my control arm needed replacing, the communication was amazing through the whole thing and I was given so many updates and enough information that I was able to make informed decisions even though I know nothing about cars.10/10 experience and I will be back.

They fired my boyfriend for staying home for 2 days because his uncle died and I had a miscarriage on the same day. Just heartless.

The staff at Kal Tire are top notch... went in for a brake job and they found a more complex issue existed... the vehicle was deemed dangerous to drive and they strongly recommended the vehicle be towed to the local dealership for further repairs... as it's still under warranty... these guys care about vehicle safety.
