“Fantastic people! Great variety of quick fix meals and treats for these trying times. Not all of us are able to get out and browse miles and miles of grocery store aisles for meals. I had a major heart attack two years ago and suffer from severe advanced a osteoarthritis which makes shopping for meals extremely difficult.I plan weeks in advance to venture over to Truro to obtain meals for a while to fill my freezer and usually arrive at a time I’m the only person in the store and don’t have to worry. The staff is always willing to help and let me ‘ graze’ at my own pace!Thank you guys!”
“Nicer looking after the renovations. Though the new glass doors where the milk is kept were sticking shut which could be a problem given they're brand new. But very helpful and polite staff”
“Hi I was looking for just a small Turkey for Thanksgiving supper. I asked one of the employees from the meat Dept. He politely said that only large ones were left available. I did the rest of my shopping and while waiting in self check. Along came that same employee with the perfect sized Turkey. I greatly appreciated the extra effort and his dedication to customer service. Truro Super Store has super staff. Thanks. Again”

“Had a great experience, thanks to a fine fellow named Thomas. Super friendly. Knowledgeable and clearly underpaid. Unless he's the manager. That would make sense. I sure don't like these small town hours though. But I get it. Foodland should be focused on Uber Grocery right now if they were smart. I have lots of experience in this technology and guess what...it's here..unless of course you don't want a 40% increase in sales and added jobs for 2025. Power Shopper Tip-- always do the math on price per gram or kg when shopping. Cheaper is rarely cheaper. They want you back next week. Sobeys do this to everyone. Truth. Spending a little more for a larger bag of Cheetos is saving you $$$”
