Best pottery work I have ever seen and largest selection. Very busy the day I went. They need a more efficient check out. Took me 20 minutes.

Beautiful shop, wonderful pottery. Difficult to choose, but we went home with some momentos of our trip to Nova Scotia.

Since I discovered Sara’s shop several years ago I cannot resist popping by a few times a year to find a beautifully crafted piece of pottery. She has made custom plates and cups by special order for us too! We use these everyday, so they are durable and functional as well. Sara is a master potter and a wonderful person to chat with. Highly recommended!

Hands down the Best Potter in Nova Scotia! Huge showroom with beautiful handle crafted selection of goods, plus fair trade imports from Africa, hooked rugs and art. A highlight in Tatamagouche and not to be missed!

The shop and garden outside are very lovely. There's so much to explore in terms of pottery. The artist has a few major color schemes to choose from- pale yellow, robin's egg blue, dark blue, some greens, and white. I'm giving this a 4 instead of a 5 because the prices vary widely for similarly sized objects and I wish I had known why. I'm assuming the glaze or level of perfection of the bowl/mug/etc but it wasn't obvious. She has some lovely hanging planters, too, and some teapots. Definitely worth a stop. I was glad she had a large sign outside the yarn shop downtown which drew me up to the shop & studio.
