“I was at Pet Valu about 2 weeks ago and received the most wonderful service from a guy named Kyle. He went above and beyond for not only myself but he had about 5 of us that he was juggling and gave all of us excellent service. He was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. You can easily tell he loves his job and excells at it!”

“I don’t usually leave reviews for places but I had a whirlwind of a day yesterday that ended with a very long and crazy, but also wholesome experience at pet valu. I have been having issues with my cats peeing in the house for a couple weeks since one of them had some health issues earlier in the month. Kurt was the employee working when I arrived and he helped me pick out a new covered litter box, with sides high enough so that pee won’t leak out from the ledge. He also suggested a new litter that is odourless and dust free. I told him I was nervous about upsetting my cats by making too many changes with them at once, but he told me that if they don’t like the new litter, then I can return whatever is left of it and receive my money back (but so far, they seem to love it! and less litter is being tracked around the house!) He also helped me pick out washable cat beds, a litter mat and a cat tree (I pretty much had to buy new everything for my two cats after the whole ordeal of one of them being sick). He was extremely kind and professional, and definitely a well informed animal lover, he’s been there the other times I have gone to the store and has always been very kind and professional. I asked if it would be okay for my boyfriend to pick up the cat tree later that evening with his truck because I had no room in my car and he said he would leave it upfront for me.Then I had issues with payment, it was a pretty large haul I had gotten and I have spending limits on my card. So to pay for the order I was going to have to run to the bank and take out cash then come back. Kurt said he was about to change shifts but he would let the new employee know and keep everything upfront for me. When I returned Muno (I believe was his name) was now working. I made my payment and then took my things other than the cat tree and left. However once outside I realized I locked myself out of my car. I called my boyfriend and he said he would leave work then to come and jimmy it open for me, but to go inside and keep warm. Very embarrassed I headed back into the store. I explained the situation to Mono and he was very kind and understanding. He offered me water, offered to let me charge my phone, and told me if there was anything else I needed while I was waiting then to let him know.After about 15 minutes my boyfriend arrived and managed to get my car open, then we went back in for the cat tree to put it in the back of the truck.While it was quite an ordeal for me it was one of the best customer experiences I have had in my life. Kurt and Muno were both extremely kind and professional, and I will definitely be coming back here for all of my pet needs, just hopefully I won’t lock my keys in my car this time.Highly recommend anyone in the area comes to this store for all of their pet needs, also their prices were cheaper than the stores I usually go to (sobeys, superstore, and walmart)5 star experience guys, thank you!”
