The store was impeccably organized and tidy, which made finding precisely what I required a breeze. I was genuinely impressed by the extensive selection of top-notch products, tailored to meet the needs of both experienced craftsmen and budding DIY enthusiasts, like myself.Yet, what truly distinguished Proudfoots was the outstanding customer service. The staff exceeded my expectations, ensuring I had all the pertinent information, and their suggestions were right on the mark. It's clear that they take great pride in their profession and hold a genuine concern for their customers' projects.

I called to speak to the Manager regarding delivery of 5 boards that would not fit in my truck as they are 20ft long. These were an add on to my original order of Compost decking and materials. I was asked if I wanted to hold which I did, then that she would call me back. I received a call from the person I ordered from, (Rachel, very good) then from a supervisor Leah. I guess the Manager did not want to take my call. Disappointing. I explained that along with the money I had just spent, I would be placing an order for materials for a 24 ft retaining wall and firepit area and that I would really appreciate them delivering these boards to me. The answer was "no" so for a $50.00 charge they gave up my future business. Disappointed for sure.

I started to write a negative review here but decided to contact management 1st to express my concern. Well , Jim Proudfoot contacted me immediately and asked for the details. He very quickly got back to me with an apology and a generous offer to make things right. I know we all make mistakes but what really matters is how we deal with them. Jim went above and beyond to make sure I was treated more than fairly , thank you. I would certainly recommend doing business at this store.

Good value,good sales,great variety. Has discontinued aeroplan.Bought 2 washing machines for less then I could at a local family run furniture and appliance store and actually had fun while doing it.

There's an automatic feeling of being welcomed any time I have gone to the Proudfoots in our area. If I can't get what I'm looking for, I will be offered other options. What really stood out for me is how the staff not only gives good customer service but how they actually like each other ?

Very clean well layed out store friendly staff only complaint is their prices find them to be alot higher then other places selling similar products. For example went to get outdoor bird food today this store wanted 25$ for a bag of seed the same bag at Walmart was 13$ quite a difference ?

Clean store, well stocked. Can usually find anything we are looking for easily. The outdoor garden center had a good selection of flowers and vegetables we found. A nice selection of flower pots too. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful employees anytime we stop in here. Definitely recommend!
