BEWARE ! Note our 2 estimates below from New Minas Midas. The manifold part Midas wanted to replace needlessly was $3300 + , exact same part and number $647 on Amazon.ca . We took our vehicle to a local place, total bill was $466, far cry from 5 - 6 grand from these guys! The local guy repaired everything and we only needed a flex pipe. Disgusting when you think how many people they suck in end up paying their "rip off" prices. SHOP AROUND.

I seldom write reviews but Midas this morning was so helpful I need to say thank you. My grandson was taking his drivers test this morning and I discovered that my MVI had expired the end of September. Ed and his team took my car in first thing this morning and saved the day. I am so grateful for their help. Best service ever!

Our vehicle broke down on the side of the highway. We found a midas and met Ed.
Ed turned what could of been a terrible situation into pure gratitude. We explained the situation and he immediately took us in, only wanting to help.
It was made sure we got on the road safe and sound with his quality work.
Thank you, so very much for yesterday and all you did for us. The literal above and beyond car work, but most importantly, your kindness. We won't be forgetting it, and will be recommending your services.

The service from Midas from start to finish is excellent, efficient, friendly and personal from initial telephone call making appointment, update of progress, timings and costing's on the day and when car is collected. The garage is conveniently located. I recommend the garage highly.

I have used this Midas location for awhile now and have received excellent service. They do only the repairs needed and find ways to take the least expensive option in a fast and efficient manner. I had my latest visit today for a noise that concerned me...turned out it was a minor issue that they dealt with quickly. I was relieved and then surprised that Ed gave me my keys and no charge for the service. Thanks again for making my day...and of course the excellent service I receive from you.

These guys had me in same day. Had the repair done same day, allowed me to come in to the bay and showed and explained to me what the problems were in detail, and kept working to find the cause until they found it. I never have to go back to deal with the same problem twice. Love this!!!!!!

First visit to this locally owned shop. Customer service was amazing I had booked an appt only 1 week ago got in and out in 1 hr had oil change and mvi complete. I will be back the owner was genuine about providing excellent service!!

The oil light came on in my Equinox today so I headed to New Minas hoping to find a no-appointment-needed service centre. Apparently they don't exist in that part of the province, but what I did find was Midas. Even though it was close to closing time they were able to fit me in right away. The owner (I wish I'd got his name) and his staff are pleasant and efficient and our conversation with the owner was so entertaining that it seemed like no time before the job was done and we were on our way. Thanks Midas New Minas, I couldn't be happier!
