Wade was super kind and saw our vehicle after hours as we had been towed from 20km out of town. He quickly had a look and eased our concerns and sent us on our way feeling good with our car.

Best mechanic! Kind, hardworking, honest, attentive, welcoming and knowledgeable about mechanics (35 years of experience). You can admire his certificate/diploma wall in the field in his garage when he works on your car. My muffler broke around 7 p.m., we arrived around 8 p.m. and at 9:30 p.m. I was gone! You have a problem with your car during your trip on the Cabot Trail, it’s Wade Hogans you need to go see! 10/10

We are traveling with our van, a GMC Savana 2500, and we had a wheel bearing issue. We were really lucky to find Hogans Automotive Services in this remote area as it is not safe to drive like that ! Wade has a really strong experience with all kind of vehicles. We arrive without calling or anything and he had a look at our issue in a couple of minutes in order to help us quickly. As he had to order a new wheel bearing from Sydney, he let us stay in his place and sleep in our van until it arrives. And, even if he was quite busy at this time, he did some extra hours in order to do the job and let us follow our travel quickly. We were really lucky to find someone like Wade to help us and would recommend him to all travelers having issues. My English is not perfect and especially with mechanic words, but he was very patient! Thanks again!!

My car (eurovan 92) broke down on the cabot trail and managed to get it to this garage. Wade's a very good mechanic and a very nice human, he allowed me to stay in my van while the parts to fix it could arrive. I saw him deal with many customers and they were all very happy with his services. There is no car, regardless of year or make that he won't touch. If you have a problem with your car in this area, you can be sure he'll do everything he can to help you out.
