Mahone Bay Bed and Breakfast was a pleasure to stay in - we were so disappointed to leave for our next location and no other accommodations measured up the rest of our trip. The house was quaint and comfortable, with attractive furnishing. We stayed in the Levy room and loved every bit of it - it had a comfortable sitting area, simple but efficient furnishings, a luxurious shower, and the space was well organized. The breakfast was delicious and healthy; each staff member we came into contact with was friendly and cheerful. The location is perfect with access to wander the downtown area shops and restaurants. A couple of tiny but appreciated touches were the fresh chocolate chip cookies that tasted just like my Mom's and the charging pad for iphones in the room.Nearby activities: We enjoyed wandering through town exploring the shops and galleries. Amos Pewter will show you how they make their pewter ornaments and jewelry - their factory is right there downtown.Walkability: perfectly located to explore Mahone Bay shops and restaurantsFood & drinks: delicious and home made! We ate dinner at Mateus Bistro - it was the best seafood chowder we had the entire trip. The Nosey Crow had delicious lunch items and the Barn served up pastries and coffee.Noteworthy details: fresh and comfortable decor

This absolutely charming bed-and-breakfast is beautifully appointed and recently renovated to an upscale more modern decoration with old world charm in keeping with the old Heritage building. It is centred in the town of Mahone Bay and really stands out with the beautiful yellow and white architecture and gorgeous little gardens surrounding it. When you enter the front door there are always freshly baked cookies/ muffins and pamphlets as to what to see in the area. The rooms are lovely and spa like, beds are super comfortable and every room has air conditioning. There is also a parking lot on the side of the house. Val makes an incredible breakfast every morning and changes it up every day. There’s something for everyone and she pay special attention to people’s diet with gluten-free scones, wonderful eggs and a variety of fruits, vegetables and meats. Coffee is always on hand 24 hours a day if you would like. I cannot recommend this bed-and-breakfast highly enough. If I could I would go back there every week!❤️

We had to cancel our booking because of an emergency. They took our money for the price of the ENTIRE cost of the room. No discussion about why we had to cancel or ask. Just responded that is their policy. I would not book here EVER again. Canceling 14 days before is not realistic especially with life happens. They chose to have no discussion about it. I will be leaving a bad business bureau complaint as well.

Just had an absolutely fantastic stay to end off our honeymoon. They have done an amazing job with the renovations and the entire place is stunning. Beds were amazingly comfy and we slept like a dream. Highly recommend staying here! Couldn't get a better location to explore Mahone Bay!

We stayed here for two nights and we both agreed it is one of the best places we have ever stayed at. Daniel and Miriam are excellent hosts and cooks as their breakfasts were three courses and delicious. The house is tastefully decorated and our room, The Regancy, was beautiful with everything you needed and a very large bathroom. The home is centrally located close to all shops and restaurants and very walkable. I can’t say enough about how pleased we were with everything and we can’t wait to return. Theresa and Pat Kennedy

We highly recommend Mahone Bay Bed and Breakfast. Miriam and Daniel are excellent hosts, the property is stunning and the 3 course breakfast was delicious! Mahone Bay is an excellent jump off point for visits anywhere along the Lighthouse Trail including Peggy's Cove, Lunenburg and other south shore destination. Be sure to get in line for supper across the road at Oh my Cod restaurant. The lobster roll is served on a large croissant and the seafood chowder is the best we've ever eaten. Just beware that most shops in Mahone Bay are closed on Monday and shutter early at 5pm.

Daniel and Miriam were welcoming and helpful hosts. The inn is charming and meticulously maintained. Its location is great as you can walk everywhere in town (restaurants, supermarket, etc) . In addition, the downtown has lovely historic houses. Breakfast is wonderfully prepared. And it is convenient to Lunenberg. We stayed there three nights and would have stayed longer except the weekend was upon us and they were booked.

Beautiful historic home with great decor. We had a room where our private bathroom was down the hall and was no inconvenience at all. If that's not your thing there are also rooms with ensuites. Very comfortable bed and air conditioning. The breakfast was amazing with fresh baked muffins, fresh fruit cups and omelets. Fabulous hosts!!
