Took my car there for an oil change in Novemeber of 2023 and got their "free break check" They told me I needed all new breaks and routers and drums and shoes asap I wouldn't make it through the winter. Wanted almost $2000 for parts and labor. Well it's now October 2024. Just took the car for a MVI. 11 months later. And those same breaks routers drums and shoes passed. Mechanic even took me to my car to shoe me while they had the tires off. They lost all my business and will never ever recommend them again.

Booked an appointment and when I went there, said they can't help as I was late( emergency). Terrible service, just booked with another business and gave them my $$ instead.

NEVER take your car here as a woman.
I took my car in for a MVI, literally pushing a baby stroller, they tried to tell me that my car was leaking brake fluid and wasn't safe to drive. They said they had to special order parts and it was gonna be $800+ to fix and pass.
Had it towed to the dealership instead to find out, surprise, there is nothing wrong with it and it passed easily.
After reading so many similar comments on here about specially targeting women I'm disgusted. Absolutely unbelievable how dirty this business is.

Very trustworthy and committed team here at Speedy. Went above and beyond to diagnose a problem caused by overpriced work I had done at a dealership. Rick and his customer service teammate actually listened to me describe what was happening and have a great sense of humour. The mechanics didn’t give up until they sourced the problem and fixed it. Car is feeling SO much better. Funniest part of it all - we’re relatively new to Sackville so tried Speedy here (loved the team on Robie in Halifax too) for my husband’s vehicle earlier this spring. Speedy flagged significant problems and probably saved my husband from having a severe accident with our “certified pre-owned” purchased from another dealership, a couple months prior. The kind of stuff that was “certified” by the dealership. Thanks Speedy Sackville!

Great service, they worked on 2021 Chevy Silverado 1500 Duramax RST. All new break pads front and back and reset all the brake pad sensors. Thanks to their quick booking appointment I made my 1500km trip in time the next day. All went very well.

My wife went there for MVI. Someone took a look at car and told her there were bolts missing on breaks. He couldn’t let it pass and charged $63.25 for extra check.Then I took car to dealership , they passed without any issues. Never gonna go to speedy again!

Maybe they’re ok, if you’re “from around here”. Avoid if you ain’t. Second place in Sackville in 2 weeks that completely wasted my time and didn’t even bother to look at my car. Heading to Halifax to a dealerership garage who’ll not make up weird excuses to avoid servicing my car; not trail off and hope I’ll just walk away and who likely knows that INFINITI is Nissan and not German.

Don’t send women here for a safety inspection as they try to take advantage thinking women don’t know any better. Didn’t pass the car for a part that there was absolutely nothing wrong with so we got the part changed brought it back and it passed. Asked them to show us on the old part what was wrong with it as we put it in the trunk after it was changed and buddy couldn’t even say what was wrong with it. They were hoping we would get the part changed by them but we went elsewhere … awful awful awful

Took my car here in may for an inspection. I’m a girl who looks relatively young and clearly know nothing about cars and I think they took advantage of that. When they were done looking at my car a man came out and said “everything on your car passes… except the front brakes” along with a few other issues that likely should be tended too etc. which was fine but they even told me my tires were going to need replaced but they pass for now, and the tires are actually in amazing condition with a little wear but like I can get another season out of them… I got a second opinion on my brakes. Although they will need to be replaced, they were 100% passable. So rather than getting $30 from me for an inspection they charged me for a “pre inspection” which was $55 plus tax. I think they didn’t pass my car bc I’m a woman who they thought or hoped didn’t know any better. I think it was in hopes that I would come back to get my car fixed to pass it and I def will not be back.

My wife took the car in there for an MVI got alist of stuff we needed to fix.
I brought it to another place who found nothing wrong with it The brakes were close but still had 3 mm before it would fail

I’ve been to this location three times now for different services. The staff are gems and really take care of their customers. I don’t see why I’d go anywhere else for my car service at this point.

Can't say enough good things about everyone at this shop. Great service, great techs and a great price. Thank again for letting me put my trust in you folks. They have treated my daughter, wife, and me as a valued customer so I will be going here for all my vehicles service for life. They make you feel like family. Thanks again folks.
