Have been going to Paul's for many years, for basics and more. Have always been treated fair and better. Great service starts with the owner!

Jeddore Variety or "Paul's" to some has been around since I was young and let me tell ya, I've bought a lot of stuff from this place!Paul, the owner does a great job of keeping up with trends and prices are decent for a convenience store. Also has a plentiful amount of stock! The plaza is very old... And likewise so is all the stores in it. I would love to see renovations done to the plaza and would even be willing to throw a little change to help make it happen! This store has everything from crafts to bugdet toys and electronics and everything in between! In the last couple of years I've noticed Paul has really doubled down on stock in the store and I see a lot of great product companies that I would see at the dollar store like hot wheels!I love this place and is definitely worth saving the gas money then going to the dollar store in porters lake which is quite dull in comparison...The plaza is called forest hills plaza if you are wondering.

ABSOLUTLEY love this little store. Being from Dartmouth and having so much shopping to choose from and such a large selection of brands to choose from, Can be a great thing.....BUT the atmosphere is often dull, impersonal, uncomfortable, and depressing.I only "discovered" Jeddore Variety about 2 months ago while on a little drive, and I instantly fell in love with the "CHEERS" vibe of " where everybody knows your name, and they're always glad you came"..... THAT sense of community I've felt just watching and listening to customers chat with each other and chat with the helpful staff who seem to know most of their customers on a first name basis is a feeling that has long long been lost here in the "city". I Grew up visiting my Mothers side of the family in an equally small village in Digby Neck where the general store was a family run TRUE "little house on the prairie" general store so maybe that's why I enjoy Jeddore Variety as much as I do, either way though.......it can not be duplicated, mass produced, copied, or sold in the big box store world we live in today. So HATS OFF to Jeddore Variety for putting the effort and time in to the overall atmosphere of your store....I keep telling every one here about you and especially the great deals and friendly feel I get when I walk in.Just because you do not know who I am, and I am just a new shopper at your business, does NOT take away from how you all make me feel accepted and treat me with as much friendliness as you do with every one who you know on a first name basis that walks through your humble front door.
