There were 2 Indians working inside. The Indian lady served as Cashier and she scanned my Air Miles + CAA card. After I paid with my connected BMO Credit Card and I found there’s no discount. She said that the machine didn’t bring up any discounts and the Indian young man asked me to contact my bank about it. I don’t know what kind of tricks this is?

Shell Hammonds Plains RoadToday is the last day for Air Miles and Shell has a promo ending today 30 litres of fuel get 40 air miles. They also still have the .05 per litre discount sign outside for using air milesOnly after filling my car did I find out. Neither the bonus or the discount would apply.Because today is the last day, which is until midnight.This should have been displayed on the pumps or someone inside be in a position to honour the advertised discountWho can we discuss this with???

This is normally a well-run place but it has deteriorated lately. Today, we diverted here to get the CAA and Air Miles discounts since we were close. There were half of the pumps working, and the rest were closed with pylons.Once inside, there was a long line of people as one sole person was staffing the cash. If we’re required to come inside to get the discounts, at least have enough staff on.The cashier had to rush outside to help another customer and as we were rushed away, I realized he didn’t even scan my CAA card for the discount. :(

Used Shell EasyPay app. Worked great-no problems. Did not go inside but all looked as it should be-big convenience store with NSLC outlet and Pete's Froutique outlet.

Absolutely poor service. Often wait 1-2 minutes for the attendant. The attendants are usually out back smoking and not caring that people are waiting on them. Could be at 5am or 2pm, doesn't matter. Rarely ever greeted in store either. They usually tell you the price and that's it. Bunch of overpaid kids.

Unnecessarily poor service.Shell offers rebates to people paying with certain credit cards. The issue? Half the time the cashiers will check me out through the “sobeys” terminal which does not show up as gas on my card and makes me lose out on my rebate. I get it’s hard to remember stuff like that, but I politely ask each time and only end out getting my rebate 50% of the time. This isn’t because it ends out being put through incorrectly, but because the cashier downright refuses.I don’t know why it’s a huge deal, especially when it’s shell putting on the promotion...Not only this, but running in store only promotions during covid seems backwards.
