I own two Volvo cars, was going here for service with them and it was typical for a dealership. Basic service items were pricey but the staff were friendly enough, sometimes you need dealer expertise. When I needed help with the Volvo app, they let me blow in the wind for 3 weeks until I called Volvo corporate and figured it out on my own. No one even called to follow up or apologize. When the cars and service are expensive, the expectations for how to help customers is high. Unfortunately in my case, they fell well short. Probably won't be considering anymore Volvo cars if the dealership can't be respectful of my time and business.

Great service, and friendly. Very clear work details, video, and cost breakdown. They have snacks. They'll clean and wash your car. And you get free Uber rides to and from home.

We just purchased a 2023 XC60. When I first contacted Volvo Halifax, I was lucky enough to be directed to Ryan Keatings. Ryan is professional, knowledgeable and personable. He was available for any questions prior to the test drive and was very open, friendly and helpful when we went to the dealership. Ryan gave a comprehensive review and demonstration of the XC60's safety, communication etc systems and clearly answered our questions; assuring us we could contact him going forward with any additional concerns. I had the pleasure of purchasing my first Volvo from Ryan Keating at Volvo Cars Haliax. Ryan was intentional in determining what was most important to me and genuine in sharing his knowledge and experience with the brand. Terrible Service - Avoid the service Dept!! Salespeople are helpful and they'll provide detail on all the benefits of Volvo Halifax Maintenance, but service appointment will cancel appointments with little notice. The reason they do this? High turnover in the maintenance dept since they pay so poorly. Despite the lipstick, its just another Steele Auto pig.

I give my recent experience with Volvo Halifax top marks. Ryan Keating offered consistent communication throughout the entire process of ordering and waiting on my XC90 Recharge. When the car arrived he seemed genuinely excited for me and he took the time to patiently walk me through the car’s specifics. I’d also like to acknowledge how lovely Stephanie in the finance department was to work with. My entire experience was personal and very pleasant which is a rarity these days. I highly recommend seeing Ryan at Volvo Halifax if you’re in the market for a new car.

Recently purchased a vehicle (our first Volvo) from Volvo Halifax and had an excellent dealer experience. We live on PEI, so everything was done via email and phone, and was made very easy. Ryan Keatings in sales and Stephanie Antonello in financing were both fantastic to deal with. Ryan drove the vehicle over to us and took as much time as we needed to answer any and all questions we had. Overall - 5 out 5 experience for sure, and we will certainly be back when we need to update. We recently purchased a 2024 Volvo XC40 in Halifax. Our brand ambassador, Ryan Keatings, spent several hours with us graciously answering all of our questions, showing us several vehicles that fit our needs and found us the perfect one. We were well taken care of by Ryan and his colleagues on that day and since our purchase. We certainly made the right decision choosing Volvo Halifax.

Early in 2023 we purchased an XC40 from Volvo Halifax. Ryan Keatings was absolutely second to none to deal with. Not only did he find and have the exact vehicle that we wanted, he made purchasing it an absolute breeze. We were concerned about connectivity issues as we are in a rural location with no AT&T service but Ryan went above and beyond to determine that this issue will be fixed and sorted by Volvo Canada so that we will be able to connect on other towers belonging to other service providers. Ryan had our vehicle delivered to NL. Upon pick up, the screen was blank due to a recent software issue update/glitch. Ryan called ahead to Volvo NL to arrange to get this sorted and offered a hotel room and a meal to compensate for the inconvenience as we had a 5 hour drive back home. Ryan could not have been any better than he was. We absolute LOVE our XC40 and would recommend if you are in the market for a Volvo, head to Volvo Halifax and see Ryan Keatings.

The sales team at Volvo Halifax, in particular Ryan Keatings, we’re incredibly helpful as we test drove several models to find what worked best for our family. It was a great experience from our earliest days of browsing to finally buying our Volvo.
