Pet Valu
278 Lacewood Dr, HalifaxThis store had different products than the Dartmouth stores. I was looking for dog raincoat like the ones at this store. I liked that the collagen bones were in proximity to cash register. Both stores had a worker stuck at the register unable to take me to the section I needed help with. I wanted dog pyjamas. She said they keep them outback. I asked to see them. Couldn’t leave register or refused. Can’t remember.

Spryfield Animal Hospital
320 Herring Cove Rd, HalifaxIt’s our first visit. Staff members were courteous. Dr. Mencher was thorough in examining and then explaining what our dog, Panko, needed. Since Panko was developing a limping of the right hind leg, he was tested for Lyme disease. The result was positive. Dr. Mencher quickly called to inform me and shared the strategy of the treatment, including a 30-day antibiotic course that I should pick up from the hospital on the same day!

Garrison Brewing Company
1149 Marginal Rd, HalifaxA large selection of on tap and canned beers to choose from! We tried the Lucky Punk (sour ipa) and the Mango & Dragonfruit (fruited sour) beers. Both were great! I'm not a big fan of IPAs, but this one was interesting since it was a sour! The mango & dragonfruit was a beautiful dark pink color and the taste was smooth and fruity, very delicious!

Coffeeology espresso co
1587 Dresden Row, HalifaxOn a day pouring with rain we all need a hot cup of coffee. This is the place to get it.
This little cafe is cute as a button and as expensive as one too, an easy place to just sit with a good cup of coffee and enjoy the atmosphere. The barista is very friendly and it was a joy to talk to her, I even missed her when it was time to leave. Overall good place to go if you need a quick on the go or done in coffee

The Brown Hound Public House
Ironstone Ln, HalifaxWhat a beauty little spot that’s almost hidden from view. My friend and I found it through Google, and as we walked along Hollis we knew we found it when we saw this beautiful little courtyard adorned with lights.
A few steps down we found ourselves at the front door.
Right away the smells from the kitchen wafted towards us and we were hungry!
It was busy tonight, but we got a spot right away as there was only two of us. We sat at the bar , the very end of the bar in a tiny little corner for ourselves.
The service was amazing! Everyone very attentive and happy to help.
I had the chicken sandwich. Was fully expecting a friend chicken but it was grilled! I was so happy about this as I’ve had my fill of friend chicken sandwiches.
The toppings were fresh and crisp and seasoned just right. Couldn’t put it down.
The fries we need to talk about. The odd cut, and the light batter caught my attention. Then I picked one up and bit down. It was super crispy and lightly seasoned. Dipped in the aioli or even the Guinness gravy really made them come alive.
Clean plate club all the way. Will be back!
