I came here looking for a gift and was not disappointed by the amazing selection. I easily found a gift and started shopping for myself. This is a place worth coming back to! Especially for Christmas shopping,
We didn’t have great customer service. There were three staff members behind the counter who were laughing and talking loudly when we came in. They didn’t pay us much attention. When I asked a few questions, it felt like I was bothering them. I hate small talk but I do like a friendly vibe from staff. Without this experience it would be a 5/5

Among other items, a dazzling selection of fountain pen accessories and Blackwing pencils. Haven't tried a Blackwing pencil? If you, like me, prefer a nice freshly sharpened pencil, then I encourage you to splurge (~$4ea) and give one a whirl. Like every other pencil, there is a grade between soft/shady and hard/pointy. Make a choice that fits your style of use and enjoy. The shop also has quirky cards, magnets, and a pleasing jumble of other stationery related items. It's a small but charming shop full of treasures. Happy digging ?

The most beautiful stationery shop in the heart of downtown Halifax. Lots of great gift ideas, cards for all occasions and friendly service. Displays are always fresh and so many special items you won’t find anywhere else. A must visit while downtown!
