Gave us a quote of 301.00 over the phone, when we picked up the car the price was 563.00 and on top of that the car was absolutely filthy. Find a different mechanic.

I went to get gas at Esso on my way to work and when I was finished my car wouldn’t start back up. I was very flustered and didn’t know what to do so I ran over to Coast tire and asked for help. Two guys came over and pushed my car away from the pump and jumped my car. They told me to bring it over to the shop and they will take a look at my battery. Turns out my battery was toast and I needed a new one. They got me in to get a new battery right away and even offered to arrange a way for me to get to work. Everyone was so kind, helpful, and they really saved my day. I picked up my car and noticed they even put air in my tires. Highly recommend this place for any of your car needs!

Long time review reader, first time review leaver. Have been a customer of Coast tire for a number of years. As a female with limited knowledge of cars but lots of experience with customer service I was looking for a place to take my relatively new vehicle for things like oil changes, inspections and tire changes. My most recent visit turned out to be extremely disappointing. Following an oil change, I made it to the 102 (3 kms) only to have a dragging sound come from underneath the car. The skid plate was not properly attached and was dragging. I had to pull over multiple times to try and tie it up, then ultimately getting under my car and a little to easily removing the plate entirely so I could return for repair. The screws and clips were broken and one of the screws wasn’t even attached to the car. I was told we would need to wait until staff returned from lunch to fix their error and was not compensated in any way. If I didn’t have my partner with me to remove the plate (in the rain, using a curb to lift the car up) I don’t know what I would have done. Following the repair there were still two clips missing and damage to the pressure plate. I’m very disappointed in this careless work and sad to say I’ll be looking for a different shop to bring my vehicles in the future.

I’ve had two different damaged tires on separate occasions in the past 3 months. One was destroyed in a pothole and one went flat from a nail in it. On both occasions Coast Tire fit saved the day and fit me in same day! They replaced the first one same day and the next one they were able to repair. It’s a relief to know you can fast and friendly get service on short notice!

Great little local tire shop. They helped me out when I was in a jam and even Audi was not able to accommodate. I have been doing my tires there ever since. Also they are the exclusive dealer for Nokian which produces the best winter tires on Earth. Great guys to deal with.

We had these guys change over our tires last November from all-seasons to winter tires. Took the car in this week to have the all-seasons put back on lo and behold they never put the winter tires on.
Thankfully this vehicle is not used frequently in the winter and we actively avoid the snow as a safety precaution but the seriousness of this situation cannot be understated.
Do not trust these guys. The risk that this mistake posed to my partner is completely unacceptable. Do not spend your money with these people they’ll up getting you killed or worse one of your loved ones.
Absolutely furious to say the lest. Never thought a Coast Tire branch would allow this to happen. I will never use their services ever again.

Worst customer service - and it was Sarah on phone. They should undersatnd a new customer (immigrant or new to such services) may have many questions, and you should respect it, and just not put the phone on them.

Had a small accident on the morning commute. Luckily, I was just down the road from Coast Tire & they were great. Left my car with them & even without an appointment, they had it fixed up in no time and at a great price. Highly recommended.

I blew out one of my tires and didn't have a spare. I called around and no one could help me. However, when I called Coast Tire on Young Street and spoke with (Amy?) she was exceptionally cheerful, professional, and told me to bring my car in and they would take care of me. She made the process so easy.Sure enough, the process was easy, and the tech did an excellent job on the car.A huge should out to the team at Coast Tire on Young Street. Stellar service!
