I went to Chester and Felicity in November 2023 to find my dream dress and I did.My consultant Charlotte was AMAZING and she knew exactly what I wanted and was looking for. She made the whole experience warm and welcoming!I had a fantastic time and would recommend this spot to everyone!!5 out of 5 stars.

Such a beautiful boutique full of stunning dresses and accessories. The staff went above and beyond to make every aspect so so special. The best bridal boutique in Halifax with sooo many styles for every kind of bride! They gave me so many options I never would have picked for myself! Let them work their magic and you will definitely be thrilled with the result

I'd highly recommend Chester & Felicity for your bridal shopping! Sarah was amazing with our experience, she pulled dresses that were unexpected but hit the mark perfectly. Can't say enough about our day shopping today, thank you again!

I just got back from trying on dresses and I was blown away. Erin was incredibly helpful and just a really good human. She helped me so much and really paid attention to what I was liking and not liking until...not even that many dresses in...we found my perfect dress. I'm going to submit a photo but it doesn't do the dress justice at all. It was exactly me and was a very reasonable price.I wasn't having a very good day and considered cancelling but the whole experience really turned everything around. Can't recommend more. Go! You might find your dress, you might not, but you'll be treated with such attention and care you'll leave happy regardless.

I had an amazing experience with Sarah at Chester and Felicity!I want to a very well known upscale bridal salon before my appointment at Chester and Felicity and was disappointed with there lack of sizes, they also didn't fit the dress on my body properly. I had a complete opposite experience at Chester and Felicity.Sarah made me feel so special and my family raved about her for hours afterward. She helped me pick out dresses that would fit my body type and I ended up selecting one of her suggestions! It's perfect. She knew how to fit the dress on me so I could see if I actually liked it or not. I am so grateful for her.

From the first appointment to my wedding day, I haven’t had a good experience with C&F. My first appointment which was my very first wedding dress appointment ever, I chose C&F first because of the style of dresses seemed to be unmatched by other companies in HRM. The consultant greeted us and had all the dresses in the room for me, but as I tried them on I couldn’t seem to find any I liked. She also didn’t seemed to listen to what I wanted and what I didn’t want. Luckily, they had a trunk show on and the man who was there representing the Essence of Australia was checking in with all the brides there and heard me when I was talking about what I wanted and didn’t want. Moments later he pulled a dress off the rack and I fell in love. If he wasn’t there I wouldn’t have found my dress and went elsewhere. The major red flag when I was purchasing my dress was that the women consultant recommended me ordering two sizes larger than what my measurements said. I agreed as this is there expertise so I trusted them. I also mentioned that I can control my weight and knew I would be a bit smaller regardless but she still insisted ordering mine two sizes larger.The ‘pick up’ hours and days are not accommodating to most careers. I wasn’t able to pick up my dress when it came in on the weekend, they only allow that during the week between 10-4. So as a business owner I had to take time off + have an employee cover me, costing me money. Was not impressed with this.When I took my dress to a taylor shop after receiving it, he had to take off almost 3-4 inches of fabric on both sides of my dress… the sides were mesh and my favourite part therefore I was a bit disappointed that I was loosing a lot of that. Another issue is that by ordering such a large size the cups on the dress were huge. I’m a 34-A and the cups were almost a C, meaning every time I bent over you could see into my chest.On the day of my wedding, button covers popped off the back of my dress, one of the clasps broke and it stretched a lot. Obviously on the day of your wedding dresses do take a beating but for a brand new dress I didn’t expect it to fall apart.After speaking to my wedding planner, she also mentioned that she’s noticed that they push to order two sizes larger - if your reading this DO NOT do it.My Taylor tried so hard to make it perfect and by the time my wedding day came I was over the dress as it’s been nothing but bad experiences. Hopefully they learn from this review or another bride avoids the recommendations from them.

Loved my experience at Chester & Felicity - the team there went above and beyond to help me narrow in on what I wanted for my wedding dress. The staff was thoughtful, paid excellent attention to detail, and really listened to what I wanted and then guided me to the right dresses. Couldn't be more grateful!

Finding my dress at Chester and Felicity was a fantastic experience. Sarah was incredibly kind and ended up pulling 'the dress' -- one that I probably wouldn't have chosen myself! The overall atmosphere at Chester and Felicity is the kind of experience you want; I can't recommend it enough!!

I had such an amazing time choosing my dress at Chester and Felicity. The store is beautiful and they have a great selection. I was very lucky to have Jenay helping me out, she was so helpful and kind and made the whole experience so special for us. Highly recommend!!

This was the first bridal boutique I visited and it was the best experience! Such a beautiful spot and wonderful staff! I did visit two other places and then came back to Chester and Felicity and said yes to the dress! Tonya and I emailed back and forth once I narrowed down what I was looking for and she was so accommodating and helpful! Very happy with my experience and cannot thank the girls here enough!

There aren’t words to describe how lovely my appointment was. I went to Chester and Felicity with two of my bridesmaids with the intention of just looking and getting a feel for the type of dress I would like. From start to finish, Sarah was unbelievable. She had prepared a few dresses for me to try on, with a couple different styles so I could see what I liked. She was patient and never rushed me when I was deliberating on what I liked and disliked. She made the entire experience feel grand, dramatically pulling aside the curtain to reveal each dress. She expertly clipped each dress so I could see what they would look like after alterations.With COVID restrictions, I could only have those two with me, but the store had Wifi, so my mom, mother-in-law and another bridesmaid were able to participate in the appointment – Sarah was even holding the phone at times to help! When I put on “the one”, I started to tear up, and Sarah immediately picked up on my excitement and was responded with enthusiasm. Tearing up quickly turned to full on tears, and Sarah was right there with tissues for us all.There was one other group in the store, but on the far side. It felt like we had the place to ourselves. Sarah was present and focused on us the entire time. Once I said yes to the dress, she brought over champagne for us! She didn’t rush me to take off the dress, and let me enjoy the moment. Another thing that made Sarah so wonderful – when she measured me or mentioned sizing, and whenever she discussed price, she immediately lowered her voice. It was such a respectful, and considerate thing to do.All in all, the experience was everything I could’ve dreamed of. I will recommend every bride-to-be book an appointment at Chester and Felicity!

I visited Chester and Felicity last weekend with my daughter Whitney and her future mother-in-law. With the assistance from Sarah, we had a wonderful and stress-free experience in a beautiful and bright environment. Sarah was very professional, personable and well prepared; she pulled several dresses, with Whitney’s style in mind, in advance of our arrival. She also suggested that my daughter try on a few other dresses that she thought would look great on her. Although it was difficult to choose among all the beautiful wedding dresses that Sarah selected for my daughter, Whitney did say “yes” to one gorgeous dress. I highly recommend Chester and Felicity as your bridal shop and Sarah as your consultant for a fantastic experience.
