Not so secretly run by an anti-choice faith based organization. Do not donate your time, money or items to this location. Do not purchase from this location. There are so many other non-affiliated thrift stores in Halifax.

This shop is recently (March 2022) bought and run by Open Door, the religious anti choice organization. All previous reviews are for the old owner, who was NOT affiliated with Open Door. They are using this store to fund their hate group, and they actively delete and block comments regarding this on their social media. Avoid avoid avoid.

Now owned and ran by an antichoice "crisis pregnancy centre" money spent here supports the manipulation of pregnant people, if you care about mothers and babies you should go elsewhere

Please research the new owners before deciding to donate items or spend money here. It's been purchased by a dangerous misinformation group that preys on vulnerable people.

Only shop here if you're ok with your money being used to lie to vulnerable women and spread harmful misinformation about reproductive health. This is not a free choice place.

A wonderful little boutique! Love the quality of clothes and friendly staff.

As others have said the new owners are being dishonest with their intentions. If they cared about babies at all they would help create a society where they stay with the mother and support the ones that struggle not make things more difficult just to create a "supply" of adoptable infants.

DO NOT SHOP HERE!The shop used to be a family run, frankly awesome place to be, shop, bring the kids! It has recently been purchased by an Anti-Abortion faith based group. After years of loving and supporting this shop, I definitely won’t be back unless someone else takes it over.

I used to shop here under the old owners. The store has been acquired by a “charity” Open Door. Open Door is governed an anti-choice mandate, and seek to end/discourage abortions based on religious views. The charity has also funded anti-choice lobbying and protests. However, new owners have removed all mentions of their anti-choice mandate from their social media, so it can be difficult to know this.It is important to know what your dollars are supporting. I will no longer be visiting this store.

A community hub for families, the owner is a joy to see at every visit. Our go-to to for everything baby and child. A great way to keep kid's items in use, without relying on buying new every time. I don't know what we'd do without them!

This store is a gem! It's basically legendary among thrift shopping parents. Hayley stocks an incredible blend of gently used and new items ages 0-tween & sweet maternity finds to boot. Seriously check them out to see their baby gear and local toys. Oh and bring your kids and coffee to hang out.

Great spot for used kids clothes at a very good price. You can even bring in your kids stuff they grew out of and they will give you an in-store credit. Each item you bring in they will give you half the price they would charge as a credit. It's worth bringing in your old kids stuff, they have a huge selection for ever age. They also carry outside gear for all seasons. One the I like the most of this store they have a flat price rate for everything. For example, all t-shirts are $3 or all shoes are $5 (these prices I used may not be the correct prices the store used and are only for example purposes). My daughter also loves going here because the prices are so low. They had a 50% off sale today when we went and my daughter got a beautiful dress and shirt for $3.80It the only store that I tell my daughter to pick out whatever she wants because I know it won't cost much. GREAT LOCAL KIDS USED CLOTHING STORE!!
