The most delicious white bread...just like my grandmother used to bake it on the Labrador coast!! Baked good are so delicious, and the ice cream shop is the best. We'll definitely be back every time we visit from Newfoundland!

Today was the first time we checked this place out . So many yummy treats . From homemade pastries and sweets , to homemade jams and preserves , fresh produce and frozen treats . Home decor and decor for the garden . Friendly staff . They even have a garden center outside . We walked down while we waited for our vehicle to be serviced up the road and then drove back to do some shopping for some treats and goodies . We will definitely be back the next time we travel through from the city . Small town community and everyone is so friendly .

We love going here for our lunch time sandwiches. At $5-6 bucks it's the best deal going. Grab and go, super filling and lots of variety. I've had the chicken salad, the ham and cheese, and the roast beef. They're served on white bread or classic Nova Scotia brown bread and they are so good. They taste like the bread I grew up on that my sweet mother used to make, may she rest in peace. There is something very nostalgic and comforting about a sandwich on homemade bread. Make sure you pick up a loaf to take home. You'll be kicking yourself if you don't.Their baked goods are amazing. I love the oatmeal cranberry cookies, my fav. They even have homemade ice cream sandwiches. Speaking of, don't skip the fridge and freezer section where you will find local meats and cheeses.I live in Dartmouth. Their prices for local produce are a little bit higher than my local market, Dave's Fruit and Vegetable Market. But you will find fresh valley produce here so I highly recommend. There are a lot of other fun things here. From crafts to jams and jellies, you will inevitably find something you want to take home. They've got a great garden centre in the summer and an ice cream stand. It's the quintessential Nova Scotia market and should be part of your Windsor visit.
