I really love this store and have been brand loyal for some time. I just refuse to walk into a sobeys unless I absolutely have to. I have never been one to break the bank on that expensive cut of meat but I just need to know, who is these days? I mean who is buying these $30 and $40 steaks. I'm to the point that becoming vegetarian is a real option and if it wasn't for the fresh produce costing nearly as much as the beef, I probably already would have. How can you report the profit that you do and sell things at the price you are? You really need to do better as a company as a whole if you want to continue in such rural areas where local farm costs are getting real comparable to your bulk pricing. Where do you think these people are going to choose to shop when those prices become on par? The boycott is real and you only have your greed to blame.

A couple of year ago, I bought 3 of those 5 gallon water bottles(wathever cost + 10$ deposit), since my water at home was bad. Now that I have better water, I simply wanted to return the bottle to get my deposit back, and got told that they don't do that anymore and to call the 1-800 number. So i did call and after 10-15mins on the phone with them i was told that if you don't have your receipt from (2022 in my case) there is nothing you can do to get your deposit back.That is what I call a SCAM.Shame on you

In 2022 I ordered a deli plate for Christmas Eve .It wasn't ready at the designated time .I spent a hour trying to locate it.The staff where neither helpful or kind. In 2023 I ordered a deli plate from a competitor and was in and out of the store within 10 minutes. A completely different customer experience!n
