“I don't normally give reviews for products or companies, but in this case I just had to. Like everyone else in the world I was forced to work from home during the pandemic. I borrowed a chair from work since my home chair was less than ideal. But then I switched jobs and my new job gives me the opportunity to work from home even after the pandemic is over. So instead of asking my new work for a chair I decided I should just get one for myself.I'm a tall person so wanted to get something that would fit me well. After many hours of googling and reading reviews I couldn't find anything that seemed to make sense. Then I decided that looking at chairs from big corporations around the world didn't make sense with how I like to shop anyway. My wife and I try to buy local whenever possible. This lead me to google for Canadian office chair manufacturers.To my surprise a little company in Dartmouth NS, in my neighbouring province made office chairs. There isn't much about them anywhere so I contacted them asking about what they would recommend for a tall person and they suggested the Dolphin series and they gave me a quote. At first I thought it was out of my price range, but then after much consideration I decided that if they are built as well as they say they are it would last me the rest of my working life and I wouldn't be buying a chair every few years from the big box stores.I took the leap and contacted them again. They asked me a few more details and tweaked the quote a bit and then I ordered one. They said it would take 3 weeks to arrive and it came almost exactly 3 weeks after ordering.I really enjoy it thus far, except the arm rests don't go low enough for my gorilla arms. I contacted them again about it and they are mailing me some spacers and longer bolts to allow me to lower the arm rests so I don't get a sore neck.Great product and great customer service.Thanks Chairs Limited!”
