I was actually looking for a candle brand that they didn't carry but the person working was so helpful and friendly that i ended up buying something because they were so nice.really sweet store and super calming environment.i cant wait to light my delicious smelling lavender soy candle.thank you so much

this is the best gift store i’ve been to in the HRM, they have SO much to choose from and so much diversity in product. kitchen, bath, kids, stationary, grocery, clothes, garden, there is definitely something for everyone. incredible local options, excellent quality and the cutest jewelry section ever.

We heard a lot about Kept from not only locals in Halifax and Dartmouth but also from tiktok before coming. Obviously, our standards were pretty high before going. Before I review, I'd just like to say that no shade to any of the employees. They were all lovely and sweet. My issue is that, I bought a ring from there. I wear rings and collect them as momentoes, so when I buy one as a souvenir, I want it to last. These rings only come off for showers. I asked, and was told that the silver ring was sterling, and that the gold ones were plated. The silver ring I bought turned my finger green within hours. I'm honestly shocked for two reasons, one being the fact that either the establishment made a mistake or that they figure it's ok to win pennies from tourists. Either way, this ring won't serve as the lasting memory it was meant to be. Their stock is absolutely adorable, but I don't recommend the jewlery, and for the price I payed for fake jewlery, I was quite literally robbed.

Lovely quaint shop. Nicest ladies working there. Great assortment of stuff. I had a lot of people to buy for but only took a few things as everything is very overpriced.

One of downtown Dartmouth's treasures. If you're looking for that unique gift for someone special, or even for yourself, it is definitely worth the visit. It may be a bit pricey, but you are paying for quality merchandise. Have been there many times, and rarely leave empty handed.
