“Great store and nice staff, love that they sell a small section of groceries for an actual affordable price, you can go there full a cart and spend 50$. Hopefully, they keep adding to their supply and keep prices affordable”
“I shop dollarama all the time. There is still people that have never been in a dollarama. They don't know what their missing. Once you know what kinds of products they carry you can really utilize the store. There is alot of stuff that sobeys and superstore sell but 1/3 to half the price and alternatives. Great for the struggling household.”
“Always nice staff and kept as clean as can be.People complaining about people outside begging for change should put their energies towards helping solve the problem instead of complaining about it. The staff can only "shoo away" so many people a day, if at all. Complain to your MLA, not the underpaid staff without training in social-work.”
“NOTE- I AM ONLY REVEWING THIS 4 STARS TO GET MY STORY OUT! Very bad experience me and my friends got banned from this store for doing absolutely nothing here's the story. So my friend threw a ball and it traveled 1 centimeter because my friend was close to them so then the security guard (who always follows us for nothing) tells us to give him the ball so we do and we just started laughing and some random person said sarcastically haha so funny and I say "Girl be quiet" and as we walk down the aisle the security guard says we are banned for 6 months and when I ask for the reason he is unable to give one. I find this very unfair and it also just spits out how much of a powertrip these security guards are DO BETTER DOLLARSTORE.”
“Always an interesting variety of products. Mostly items from Costco.
When you go to purchase using debit, they round up the price of your order. Rounding up should ONLY BE USED when paying cash, not debit or credit.”
“Giant Tiger is the closest thing we have nowadays to the old Zellers. With some groceries thrown in. Quality isn't comparable with chain grocers, but the prices are aimed at bargain shoppers, and brand name items can be picked up for noticeably less. But there's little bits of this and that, like clothes, household products, out door items, small games and toys.”
