“Winners is winners, you go and find stuff a few times a week. My entire apartment is from homsense, winners, marshalls or tj Maxx, it's all the same. I like going through and finding things. I don't usually buy clothing here, but I do buy shoes and home items, I buy a lot of gifts here too and pet stuff. I always spend at least 20 mins in these stores unless I'm specifically looking for 1 thing. I love this store. Lol”

“Noof was extremely helpful and professional. She explained the return policy and issued me a gift receipt without the price so that the person I’m buying for can come exchange it if it doesn’t fit. She also let me know that they can get a gift card refund instead of exchanging for clothes as well. Super happy with the service here, thanks Noof!”
“Very reasonable cost (lower than most) for mounting tires on rims, TPS valve stems, wheel balancing and installation of said tires. They are quite busy, so my wait was a bit long, overall very happy with my service.
The Service team and parts team where very friendly and easy to deal with, during my visit I saw them explain issues to customers in a easy to understand way.”

“It's not a big store but has a decent variety of vegan foods and ethnic assortment. Like everywhere a lot of food is waayyy overpriced. Still sometimes you find good deals on fruits in season and some sales. I suppose they are doing the best they can and probably the buyers vote with their money. So if most people go for the unhealthy stuff, that's what drives the supply.
Sadly all grocery stores have a long way to go to match even the average grocery store in Toronto. What's most upsetting is that here in Halifax you can hardly find local produce. Most is from Ontario and such.”

“after spending hours trying to get one single wiper blade on my car (with the help from 3 others) I was stumped. I had no idea what the heck was going on and why it wouldn’t latch in. I also had this same issue a year ago when changing out these blades.
After having 4 failed attempts with this I decided to go to Canadian Tire to see if someone there could figure it out. This location was VERY helpful and understood that I was super frustrated with this car. (Turns out this time was because the blade I bought from a different CT location was missing a piece which is why no one could get it to lock in - I’m assuming it was a return and someone broke it or something? Idk)
The technician told me to run in and get a new blade so he could help. Within SECONDS of him getting the new blade he was able to put it on and lock it in.
I’m not sure if it was the blade or the model of my car but holy hell I couldn’t for the life of me get the first one on. I’ll just stick to going to this location to get my wipers on. Thank you SO MUCH to the technicians that were so kind to me and helped with this. You made my day so much better!!!”

“Giant Tiger is the closest thing we have nowadays to the old Zellers. With some groceries thrown in. Quality isn't comparable with chain grocers, but the prices are aimed at bargain shoppers, and brand name items can be picked up for noticeably less. But there's little bits of this and that, like clothes, household products, out door items, small games and toys.”
