Disappointing Experience with the Hiring Process and Store.
I applied for a seasonal position at this Ardene location online in June 2024 and didn’t hear back until the middle of this month, (mid-October). On October 15th, I was contacted by a representative named Ankita (unsure of the spelling) to schedule an interview, which I attended on October 17th. The interview performed by Ankita went well, and I was told the same day that I was hired. They assured me I would receive an email with next steps by the end of that day or the following day, but I never received anything.
By October 21st, I still hadn’t heard from them, so I was preparing to follow up when they called me first, asking if I was still interested. They claimed to have sent an email three days earlier, which I never received. I confirmed I was still interested and they said they would resend the email.
The next morning, October 22nd, I received another call from Ankita asking again if I had received the email, which I hadn’t and I informed her so. At that point, I was abruptly told that they had decided to move on to another candidate, and the representative hung up on me.
The way this situation was handled felt very unprofessional and disappointing. I was fully cooperative and willing to move forward, but due to a miscommunication on their end, I was dropped from the process without any real explanation. The lack of respect and courtesy in how this was handled is concerning, and based on my experience, I would not recommend applying here.
Furthermore, based on this lack of professionalism in their hiring process, I wouldn’t recommend shopping here either. If the way they treat potential employees is any reflection of how they value customers, I would suggest looking for a more customer-focused and respectful retailer. Save your time and money and shop elsewhere where professionalism and communication are valued.

The worst customer service I’ve ever received. The management seriously have an attitude problem. They lack respect and professionalism towards customers. If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would.

Worst customer service..Hey, I recently had an unpleasant experience with one of the cashiers with black short hair and she is at first cash at 3:15pm today. Her attitude was quite rude and it made me feel uncomfortable. It would be great if the management could address this issue and provide better customer service training. I believe that a friendly and helpful approach goes a long way in creating a positive shopping experience for everyone.

Eh, it didn't have much that I liked in there. Other people may find stuff though. They got a bit of everything. Shoes, sweaters, shirts, pants, bathing suits, bags, etc.

I find the place very crowded with too many shelves for the overpriced cheaply made merchandise that they carry in store . It used to be much more reasonably priced for the quality you get.

I bought a face mask which came In a package that advertised on the back that there were "2 Face Masks". When I got home and opened the package there was just one mask. I returned to the store the next day and was told that it must be a typo. I said "that's false advertising". The cashier/manager? said "well, there's nothing that I can do about it". I said "thank you" and left. Really bad customer service. They've lost my business.

I like this Ardene because now it's the only one left in metro and it's big so it has a lot of items. I find that they don't always carry what is on their website so that sucks especially if you need to exchange a size or something but that's ok. I was happy to find one left of the item that I saw on the website and I didn't even think I'd find it there! The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful when looking for something!
