It's gorgeous. I highly suggest a walk through the gardens, for every flower that's finished it's season there's another type ready to bloom.

Nice place to visit if you like gardens.
It takes about 2 hours to walk around.
There is a little café.
It was not busy when we visited (July weekday mid day) but I heard it can get busy.

Lots of fun, neat themed areas, some paths were overgrown and sometimes wished there were a few more signs on some of the less popular plants, but had a blast wandering around with friends.
Only real complaints were that there was no vegan food or snack option at the cafe (but they did have oat milk for the coffee, woohoo!) And didnt see a single garbage can or recycling bin except the one outside of the park entrance way off to the side.

We recently moved to Annapolis Royal and had yet to experience the historical gardens until today. What a wonderful place! The staff are friendly and personable, the gift shop is filled with local artisanal products and the cafe (huge highlight) is incredible.
The gardens are well kept and tended too, there are plants from all over the world that are well signposted and stunningly arranged. The business even have a bloom report to notify members of the current flowers in bloom.
The cafe deserves it's own review as the staff they're are the sweetest people, they homemade every item and even made some whilst we were there. They were able to inform us all about the food and the area and checked in on us too. The apple and Brie sandwich was to die for and my partner adored the apple and rhubarb jelly (grown from last years harvest).
We'll absolutely be coming back (every day if I could) !!!

What a lovely spot. We were so impressed that 2 of out 3 in our group bought season tickets so we can return.
A pocket of lovely gardens and tranquility in Annapolis Royal. Even in spring, when most of the leaves were absent from the trees, it was beautiful.
Will definitely return to see the beauty throughout the seasons.

We'd love to visit, but can't afford their exorbitant admission fees. Apparently their Mission Statement is only for the wealthy.

A beautifully landscaped garden that is second to none here. It's not overly big, but it's designed with a lot of love. We will definitely come more often to enjoy the flora and fauna here. A very special place to switch off from everyday life. Unfortunately we were there too early in the year and not much had bloomed yet. But we will be here again in 2 weeks and admire the blossoms of the spring flowers.
Personally, I like this garden even better than any of the others I have already visited here in NS.

The Annapolis Royal Historic Gardens is so beautiful. I especially love their rose garden. The smell of the roses is something you must experience. I love their Vegetable garden display and seeing the Acadian house. The bridge over the pond is a perfect place for a photo opportunity. A must see when you go to Annapolis Royal.
