“I've always had a good experience with this guy. In personality and in business. He doesn't always have a full store or have what someone is looking for. Sometimes you just need to keep checking in. It's a small town, and that's the reason for that problem. I was surprised to see bad reviews of this place.I've only lived here for a year but Ive bought tons from him, including appliances. And he always gives fair prices. He doesn't sell himself short...and he also doesn't take advantage of his customers. He is in it for everyone to win at the end of the day.He sold me a good washing machine as well....which broke 3 months later. I went in to talk to him about it...he offered to repair it for free if I brought it in to him....but I asked if he could just tell me how to fix it myself instead..... and he did! And he explained with patience! I fixed my washing machine the same day. I'm a woman. He didn't disrespect my independence whatsoever. Alot of men assume I can't do something. He didn't.My two oldest children have recently become independent now. And NIBS is also their go to place FIRST when they need something. From time to time I've gone to the business when he is on break and the store is locked. But I know he is the only one that works at the store. In response to one of the previous reviews....maybe you saw appliances through the window that had already been called for and sold? Or that were in need of repair? Because he has never done that to anyone else I know. It surprises me that someone would think he has appliances to sell....but won't sell them. That review doesn't make any sense to me. Why wouldn't you just keep going back like everyone else? It isn't a department store. They aren't always going to have what you need in stock. And he is also the only one who works there. If he needs a break from work he is going to need to lock up his store. It only makes sense. This is a fairly small town, and that's really just how small towns operate. It seems unfair to give such a bad review to a business that you've never even stepped foot in, and had a personal experience with. One simple phone call doesn't really give an opportunity for a fair and honest review.”
