This is the worst place in Hay River just due to the Manager Michelle. She is a crook and charged my credit card an extra $1000, a month after we checked out. She has not responded to any of my calls or emails. Very unprofessional for a business.

Outstanding customer service, easy to talk and made trip planning so much easier. Would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for great service and lovely rooms.

Really good!The place is clean and cosy enough. Lot of pillow. There is no noise, it's so calm. The staff is really great, if you need something they will help you with nice smile. The laundry it's 4$ for wash 22 minutes in warm, 19 minutes if cold delicate, and the dryer is 3$ 45 minutes, well my clothes was clean enough so could be ok.I recommend!

Stayed at the Hay River Suites for two weeks isolation and was very pleased with my stay! Very friendly and helpful staff! Michelle at the front was so accommodating and helpful and went out of her way to assist me. The suite I was in (suite 28) was very clean and quite spacious for a solo traveller or a couple. Having the loft bedroom made it seem much larger. The kitchen area was small but well stocked - with a toaster oven, toaster, crockpot, kettle. The fridge is tiny with an even smaller freezer portion, but I made it work! They are upgrading their wifi as I write this - so speed should increase. Very handy location with a quick walk to the nearby SuperA store. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

these suites are not really suites, there more like 1 star motels. Canada has to do something about this !" Perhaps you will think about it, based on your estimation of the criteria to be used by people who've returned from immigration detention. An immigration detention has to meet these 4 criteria to get a Visa Free International Protection.A court has no power to overlook the criteria on how badly hotels are run, however, there are precedents from foreign cases about exceptions to the permissibility of a particular criterion that is from the broken washing machines.Where I wrote about one of the cases, it's fairly easy to find the references to it. These cases often dealt with no country bans of origin and points of origin. So that means you DEFINITELY SHOULD NOT stay here.

I booked a suite October 2018. I asked if they wanted payment upfront and was told to pay on arrival. I recieved a confirmation email with a booking number. But when we arrived after a 8hr drive was told there was no booking. The lady in reception was sorry but said to me did I not ring to check my booking. I said again I have a confirmation email saying it was reserved so thought that would be true. I was then told its not their fault it's the owners daughter who conveniently is in Vietnam on holiday. We fortunately got a room in the Ptarmignam Inn instead who made us feel very welcome.

Clean rooms, very very helpful and efficient management. Wifi can be slow but great location! 5 minutes walk to grocery store and 20 min walk to downtown!

Bathroom door did not lock and they had traps for ants. Also there was dirty cookie sheets in the stove. They obviously don't clean the rooms correctly. But there is not very many places to stay up there and this was the only choice for 4 people
