Disgusting hotel dirty shower with soap scum all over. The breakfast was cold eggs hard biscuits & cold gravy yuck. We had to call foe everything that we needed: drinks coffee etc.... they were rude & very unfriendly we will never stay there again worst place ever
Rooms: Yuck beds r uncomfortable & pillows are horrible

Stay at 1926 at all costs do not stay here we booked a stay here for one night when we checked in Raj told us that we had a two night reservation and that we were supposed to check in the night before I showed him my confirmation email. He completely ignored it and made it sound like the email was not from him. He then took my phone closes out of my email and proceeded to take a picture of his computer screen. Of course I see what he saw. My email said it was only for one night. After 30 minutes of useless conversation, Raj told us “I am not going to do anything” after we asked him to help us solve this problem. We tried to resolve the issue when we checked out, but Raj lied to us and said we should call Priceline. Priceline said they did not have our reservation. I am currently working with corporate to resolve this issue, but still have not had it resolved.

Room and location were good the service on the other hand was horrible I normally do not leave reviews but we are working out of town stayed at cobblestone got off work after working 12 hours and the keys wouldn't work to our room no one was at the desk we used the phone at the front to get ahold of someone working there and he told us to wait 10 minutes because he was eating and then hung up

Creepy vibes! I would stay elsewhere if at all possible. My initial impression of the location wasn't bad - it is a great location and the lobby is clean.
But it's the manager running the place. He is super creepy. I've never checked into a hotel where an ID, signature, or credit/debit card wasn't requested. He just handed me the key cards and told me where the room was. But it was late and I didn't give it another thought. I had a room with two beds and when I pulled back the blankets with one of the beds, I found a hand written note in the bed that stated "This bed is not clean." I tried to use the phone in the room to call the front desk but it was broken so I used my cell phone. When I got through, the same man answered that checked me in. I told him about the note I found and he immediately hung up on me.
A few minutes passed and I hear a knock on the door. He had come to the room to see what was going on. Instead of admitting it was not okay to find something like this and offering another room, he talked in circles making no sense nor offering a solution. He demanded that the room was clean and seemed very aggrevated I would even call. I didn't feel comfortable discussing further with him standing in my room. So I let it go. It all happened so fast and in hindsight I should have never let him in the room. It was uncomfortable. He should have immediately offered me another room when on the phone or at the very least offered an apology. He was rude. This shouldn't happen and guests shouldn't be made to feel this way.

This hotel is horrible. We watched the man in the sweat pants who works the front desk yell at an elderly man for wanting a receipt before we checked in. The next day we had the cleaning service try to kick everyone out of their rooms—we had a two-night stay. We put up the "do not disturb" signs on the doors as we were on meetings only for cleaning to pound on it or they would just walk right into the room. One of our rooms didn't have any cold water, and another room had no hot water. The bed sheets are so thin you can see the mattress design through them, pillows are horrid. There is no elevator. Breakfast was cold eggs and cold sausage gravy that was put out in crock pots. We stayed at this hotel a year ago, and it was lovely.. the new owners are absolutely terrible.

This place and the worker here is a joke.
1. We had issues reserving a room. We called to reserve and the man said “I do not have authorization to check availability for a handicapped room”. Then who does?? Isn’t that literally your role—to help book rooms? We booked online.
2. Our room’s toilet did not flush at check in. He “fixed it”. It still did not flush. It did not flush all night and so we had to use the public restroom up front (which was even more disgusting than our non-flushing toilet). In the morning we asked for a discount for not being able to use our own bathroom. He then said he was not authorized but could “fix the toilet”… We were checking out.
Do not stay here unless you have no other choice like we did. In town for a funeral.
Rooms: The bathroom toilet did not flush and they did nothing to fix it for us.

Big thumbs down! Unfriendly, rude and and they don't even provide the basics for the room! Had 4 friends on a girls trip and had to argue with the rude guy for towels !!

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!! ZERO STARS!!! Stay as FAR away from this place as possible. The staff is rude and lazy. I wish I could get paid for sleeping on the job. We booked through Expedia and got our confirmation email for a king bed room. We booked it at 11:04PM. We arrived at 1AM. We go inside the doors and the door to get into the hotel is locked and there was a phone to call the desk to get let in. I called 8-10 times over a span of 20 minutes of waiting and no response. I then called on my cell phone and a man answered and said he would be right down. I waited ANOTHER 10 minutes. He came down in his pajamas and was so rude and making comments that he was sleeping. He told me I didn’t have a reservation and when I tried to give him my itinerary number he said that doesn’t count as a reservation number and that there are now no rooms because I didn’t check in before midnight, even though we booked it with our credit card at 11:04PM. (Guarantee HE took our room to sleep). We just drove 8 hours and have an infant with us now stranded at 3AM in the morning because every other hotel is booked. The staff was beyond rude and just wanted to get back to bed. THEN I call Expedia, and they try contacting the hotel and he says he refuses to take the itinerary number. What a waste of time. Please stay WAY CLEAR from this junk hotel.

Had to argue to get towels for room

Staff at this hotel were extremely rude and unwilling to explain things/issues. Any explanation we got was very confusing and contradictory. Refused to give extra towels/sheets when asked - despite having signage all over their hotel saying towels/blankets were available upon request. We were there for a wedding around the area. Only nice thing I can say is the room was clean and bed was comfortable. Do not recommend!

This hotel was a disappointment all around. Our daughter got married nearby and all of our family and guests stayed here and everyone had an issue it seems whether it financially or as little as needing an extra blanket or towel.
The customer service was very frustrating, they were rude and would not even work with the customer to come to an understanding.
Prices were told one price and another was charged to accounts.
We are avid travelers and unfortunately would not reccomend this hotel.
We were thankful however that the sink and shower were clean, and no bed bugs!
Nearby activities: There is a travel gas station next door that had a caribou coffee, subway, pizza.
A dollar general across the road as well.
Noteworthy details: I gave a 3 star on the location due to it being the only hotel nearby for a big group of people so that was convenient.
?We Didn't know about the 1926 hotel and cabins until it was too late, you can't cancel even before 3pm without a charge (on the website it says after 3 you're charged)

We booked this hotel through Priceline. We arrived around 1 AM and had to call the front desk staff several times to get checked in, just to be informed they didn’t have a room for us even with our confirmation. The staff was very rude and told me “it happens hundreds of times” with places like Priceline, when in over a decade of using Priceline we’ve never encountered this. The staff turned the lights off and walked away before I left the desk. Horrible service, thankfully will not need this hotel again.

Holtel staff walked in on me naked without knocking. I was trying to get dressed at 645 am hotel manager big fat guy wearing a rag on his head yells at me. Saying it's my fault for not checking out earlier at 6am cause that's when they start cleaning there rooms..........
