We were told to stop by Cenex in New Salem and order from Game Time Grill. We ordered the Smokey MYMY, Kids Cheeseburger meal, and the PB Bacon Burger along with waffle fries for the side.
Oh my! Everything was DELICIOUS! The burgers and flavor were perfection. What a delightful small town surprise that can turn the head of ANY big city dweller. Check them out at the intersection of I-94 and highway 31 and while you're here, check out Salem Sue. Thank you for giving me a day out of the kitchen!

The clerk was rude but we had a chat and fixed things… my burger was rare (not to my liking) my husbands mushroom burger was cooked ok. The onion rings were under cooked. So word of advice set a timer for 5 minutes on one side and 4 minutes on the other and your burgers will even be better. As for the onion rings I don’t know. I can’t cook those… mine come out way too burnt!!! lol.. any hints and suggestions to fix would be greatly appreciated.. have a great a day, evening and weekend.

We stopped here after a long day of pouring concrete...CRAZY over priced and not ONE sandwich in the entire gas station. Candy bars, chips and beef jerky at a high price

I want to give this cenex 5 stars because the bathrooms are almost always clean, the burgers and food are always good and they have the best ice cream. However, the staff (minus the young cook and older gentleman that likes the huskers and the blonde gal) are always rude. If you want an ice cream cone you’re gonna for sure get an eye roll and (depending on who’s working) the scoops are normally pretty tiny for the price. And apparently they’re allowed to leave their headphones in and just not talk to you or hear what you’re saying while checking you out, if no one’s in there yeah okay listen to your headphones but if there’s customers, take them out. Other than the staff this gas station is good, has good food and is cleanly.

Burgers are usually fantastic, but onion rings are always inconsistent. Usually they are a little burnt or undercooked, but this time they were so burnt they were inedible. How can you even serve these.

A good place to go locally when don't feel like driving to Mandan or Bismarck.Decent burgers & fries.Card processing is rather slow.Alcohol is a bit pricey since it's the only game in town.

Getting gas was normal but, the guy behind the register was not very customer friendly:/ simple greetings go along way. Don't hire people that seem disgruntled or unappreciative when many others are out of a job!!! Average at best
