I currently live at South pointe and I really really love my apartment home ?☺️ I explained all my wants and needs And likes and dislikes with my property leasing agent and she found me an apartment just for me and my spouse. Kylie was my leasing agent and she was very friendly and helpful from the beginning process til the very end and continues to always have a smile on her face and serves with excellence. Me and my bf love our place! Thank you thank you thank you Kylie ? we appreciate you and all of monarch, the whole staff in Minot is intelligent, friendly, and very professional. The apartments are very clean and kept clean and we feel very safe and welcome in our new home!

How it feels to live here, love it! Don't worry, AC isn't broken just probably isn't turn on or the ventilation in these apartments can't keep any rooms cool unless you "shut all doors", close all windows and put your cat in the closet..?
But if my neighbors turn on the heater, you can tell. ?
Also packages still get stolen or can't deliver, (looking at you USPS) recently people have been "cutting through", the garages to access other people's garages and steal so the complex has implemented a fee if they catch you with your garage door open or something along those lines. I honestly don't read half the emails they spam me about nonsense.
Also lets talk about the garages, they gave me a two car garage but they must of been built in the 60s because their so small! Almost have to lose 30lbs just to get out of my car so I don't door check my other car.
Update 5/18 Moved to 1 star after random fire alarm woke me and my family up at 5am. Expect some compensation or news about it when I wake up or I'm just leaving the 1 star on here. DO NOT MOVE HERE.

I had a great experience living at south pointe. I lived there for over 3 years. Best apartment I've ever had. Maintenance was always taken care of the same day I called. Property is well taken care of with snow removal. Caela was great to work with whenever I needed something. I even got my full deposit back when I moved out! Highly recommend!

I want to start by saying I have only ever written maybe 2 or 3 reviews for anything in my life... but wanted to make sure prospective renters had this information. The apartments look nice when you are viewing, but I caution against signing a lease here. I have been here for a year and a half, I have a 2 bedroom apartment with just me and my cat. If you intend on getting to work by driving yourself in the winter, do not rent here. I have reached out through several different avenues about the fact that the complex parking lots and garages are never now plowed until after 9am... After everyone has already tried to leave for work. I have had to shovel myself out from my garage all the way through the parking lot and to the street because the leasing office does not want to pay more or communicate better (not sure which) with snow removal services. If it snows anything over a few inches and you don't drive a lifted truck, good luck getting your car out to get to work. On another occasion, the apartment above mine had a pipe burst that flooded my apartment at 3am in the laundry room and one of the bathrooms. The water pooled so much in the ceiling that it broke through the ceiling and I had a nice waterfall in my apartment for about 45minutes. Maintenance came to turn off the pipes, but I had to reach out several times over a course of several weeks (was trying to be patient and give time) for them to come repair my ceiling. The hole was about a third of my bathroom ceiling with drywall and insulation left all over the bathroom. Could not use the bathroom because of this for a month. I finally had to reach out and ask for a rent reduction if things were not going to be fixed. Only then did they finally come fix the problem.. The theft issue is also enormous here. The complex neighborhood has been giving endless complaints about package theft for over a year as a whole, and it continues to fall on deaf ears. The company refuses to install even a single camera, and residents including myself continue to have hundreds of dollars in packages stolen regularly. If there is a reason they don't want to get cameras, they have failed to communicate it to us. The most communication we have received is 'make sure not to prop open doors so people can't get in the building', which completely negates the fact that it could be a resident partaking in all of the theft that has access to the secured lobby regardless. Finally, this is the only complex I have ever lived at that refuses to take my money! For being so stingy about snow removal costs and camera costs, they are very particular about giving you only 3 days a month that you can pay your rent. It did not used to be this way, but with new management they have taken away the ability to pay rent weeks ahead of time. You now can only pay over the last 3 days of each month, unless you want to use a random outside app and entrust your money to it. Renter beware, I would move if it would not cost me a huge chunk of money to relocate elsewhere in town. If you have an issue that they do not want to deal with, you will not receive a response from the leasing office unless you show up in person and give them no option to ignore you. They will state that this is the first time they're hearing about an issue you bring up, regardless of how many times you've actually contacted them or spoken to them. It is frustrating to see them respond to reviews on Google here, but not to their residents that are trying to ask for the bare minimum for responses. I am a really patient person... Don't think I've ever written more than 2 or 3 reviews in my life, but this really upsets me being taken advantage of as a tenant.

Packages get stolen, garbage cans are over filling, security is lacking, property upkeep is lacking, garages have bowed out walls from being ran into, when we moved in it was dirty still, garage had target shopping carts in it from previous renter, Dog poop is all over the yard, the shut our AC off beginning of October and every day our apartment gets up to 78 degrees, our dog will sit and pant, we try to have the windows and screen door open but it's right next to a loud busy road and we can't leave the patio door open for cool air at night because of security concerns

Im old school so when we finally got another email set up for my wifes application it wouldnt accept incoming emails so we did an app at another apartment and never had any problem, $50 down the drain..

Please consider placing "Centerpace" logo carts or wagons at the front entrances. They could be used by management to share information, and by residents to move groceries etc to the units. We have many seniors and families with small children which make returning from shopping a logistical nightmare. Please consider making this a win-win rather than a difficult experience.
