needed an emergency, told us 2:30pm and they don’t take emergencies seriously, had us waiting there for 1hr & 30 while everyone is walking in and out and our kitten is in need of urgent care.

My cat, Penny, had some issues/reactions after vaccinations. I felt like everyone that helped me from the person on the phone to the Veterinarian truly cared about helping her. I was very touched that her Vet called the next day to check on her and offer some more suggestions for helping her feel better.

Thank you to all the staff at Pinkerton for making all my pets and medical appointments quick, easy, and comfortable. You are always knowledgeable, professional, and allow me to feel at ease when I leave one of my family members in your care.

The lady that answers calls is so rude and doesn’t listen. I started the conversation with “My vet tech is out of town, and isnt available to read blood samples.” She said “well why?” (like IDFK. CALL THEM AND ASK, that’s her personal business.) i replied with, “I just need blood work to see if my dogs kidneys are failing.” She said “well take it up with your usual.” I just explained why I can’t in the first sentence of our conversation. I just hung up because I really don’t think that is professional. My usual said call around to see if any other vets can read the blood work.

Sure is an animal hospital. My experiences have been great with Pinkerton. I had a very hard time finding a vet in town who would take new patients, Pinkerton came through for me and had an opening a few weeks out. We've had all his vaccinations and checkups with them and they completed his neutering. No issues, all was standard stuff. The vet techs and vets have all been really good about answering my questions and I never feel like I'm being rushed in and out. Plus they saved my butt one time when I was going to canada with the good boi, and forgot his paperwork. The receptionist was able to get me a copy and email it to me and saved my vacation from a poor start.

After switching to a new vet practice, I realized just how lacking this place was. The care was subpar, and my pets' needs often went overlooked. The difference in quality and attention is clear, and I'm disappointed I didn't make the change sooner.

Do NOT have your dog put down here. I paid for the cremation service and to have an impression of my dog’s paw print made. During the process we were told an impression would be made after he passed so that he wasn’t stressed out (which initially I respected and appreciated). We were told to leave after his passing and we would be notified when we could pick up his ashes and print. When I went to get his ashes they were unable to locate the paw print and told me they would call me when they found it. They never called me and I had to call them for them to tell me that they just never did it and that I should have sat there and waited that day for it to be done (despite us specifically being told to go home and wait to be notified). My dog was cremated three days after his passing. There were three days when an impression could have been made. This is something that I can never replace. This is something I would have done myself if I knew how incompetent and untrustworthy they would be. They made a horrible experience a million times worse. I regret ever coming to them. A refund for the irreplaceable service was given but obviously it doesn’t begin to make anything okay. They took this away from my family and I. I wanted to warn other families that they can not rely on them to uphold the paperwork you sign and services you pay for. I am devastated.

They sent my dog home to die. The only thing they did was trime her toe nails, went to bismark vet 1 day after release. She was really sick, 1 hour after getting there had diagnosed as conjunctivitis heart faillue. They drianed fluid. Presctriiption for medication . Still alive after
2 years, and goings strong. The only thing they are good at is killing your pet. IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET, DON'T GO THERE. It's their time don't trust them , to do even an euthanasia right.

I’ve been taking my boys to Pinkerton for a combined time of over 20 years! I’d panic if I ever had to go to a different vet! The staff are always friendly and welcoming and caring.
