I called the South Broadway store and was SO surprised when an actual person answered the phone. I didn't have to listen to a menu and select the department that I wanted.I am old school so I am very impressed

So Marketplace is a nice store. I usually shop there for convenience. The prices are a little high. They do have the best bakery in town

Compared to Wal Mart, MF is great if you want unique bakery items or something to bring to work (dougnuts, caramel rolls, cookies etc.) They have pickled fish and all kinds of jerkys in the meat department. Prices are a bit high but in terms of having to grab a bag or two of groceries for dinner, this is a faster option than Wal Mart. They also have a pharmacy section for OTC medicine. Lots of Health Food items, which seems to be a well kept secret.They also give out gas stamps, which is not my thing but if you are on a budget they can be useful. They have an in store coffee bar that also has a drive thru lane.

We have shopped there a few times and everyone has always been friendly. Prices seem to be reasonable and I like the variety of produce they have.
