I walked in looking for something realized they didn't have it so I was about to walk out the door and a lady stopped me asking if I needed help while scopeing me out to see if I stole. That was nice..

Staff was friendly. Store and restrooms clean. Typical dollar store fodder which filled our shopping shopping baskets way beyond what we had on our list. We will be back.

At the North Hill store on 12/8/2022 at 5:33pm, a sales associate named Lore, carelessly put my glass candles in one plastic bag (other people have always wrapped them in paper). She never said hello to me, but to the older Caucasian woman and man. She also ignored my son who has a disability who was being friendly. The younger man behind me, well, she had no issue saying hello to him and asking if he found what he was looking for. When I returned home, I noticed that there were two cracks in my glass candle. I called the store and Lore picked up the phone and greeted me, but when I asked to speak with a manager, she said "just a second", and she returned to the phone and blandly said hello. I told her that I just spoke to her and she said no, she just picked up the phone, and I said to her that she sounds just like the person that I spoke to. I asked for her name and she said “Lore” and she said that she remembered me with “that boy”. I told her that it was very rude to ignore my friendly child and me, but said hello to the people before and after me. I also said that she carelessly put my candles in a single plastic bag instead of wrapping them up. Her response was, “I put them in a bag one at a time, so I don’t know why you’re upset?”. I then explained to her that she was rude and bigoted, and she halfway said “sorry” She was cherry picking who she thought she decide who to only treat with respect.I’m contacting Corporate. This isn’t going to slide. I will contact who I need to speak to and have her fired, because she practices discrimination, and it's obvious that she likes to treat others differently based on color and phenotype, and it makes her happy. Employee ‘sensitivity training’ doesn’t work because it isn’t realistic and not going to change the employee’s unlawful practices because their bigotry is their belief system, and that they would NEVER give up. I think overall Dollartree at both locations have turned into a racially biased establishment that I’ve noticed quite a bit within 18 months. It’s obvious that it’s company culture, therefore the CEO may be like this too, so I wouldn’t be surprised that in the future there would be a class action lawsuit.

I've always loved this place so I decided today I'd take some pictures to show u guys all the cool stuff they have. They have a bigger scrapbooking area now, tons of party items for every occasion, balloons, decorations, plastic ware, glow sticks, you name it. Oh and they also tend to carry the Magic City school colors, gold and maroon, which is a hard color to find in many other stores. Definitely recommend you check this place out before going to any other store for your party needs.

Today my friend and I were at this Dollar Tree location around 3:55pm with her children. We had a cashier named Gayane or gaeanne. Not too certain on the spelling but she was a Caucasian senior citizen with a short boy hair cut.My friends child started to cry, like ALL two year olds do when they are frustrated or overwhelmed, when the cashier rolled her eyes and scuffed. She then proceeded to have a conversation with the woman she was ringing up, before us, about the child crying. The woman shared that “usually she can handle crying but today she has a migraine.” The cashier nodded in agreement- still with an attitude on her face.I have never witnessed that in my life! Two disrespectful and judge-mental women making another woman feel even worse about her crying child. As if my friend wasn’t AWARE of what was happening, and wasn’t already trying to do her best to control the situation. If Gayanne would have done her job more professionally and efficiently, we could have been out of her hair sooner. Instead, she sat there and had an unprofessional conversation. In which made a mother feel terrible through a situation she can only do so much in. Children CRY! I’m not sure what gayanne would have done better but I can already assume the kind of person she is based off of how she deals with the public, at the company she works for. Imagine to those she is most comfortable with? Extremely unprofessional. I truly cannot believe that this is the kind of person they have representing a company. What happened to having compassion for another person or supporting another woman/mother in a world where we get the least support.Do better!I will be contacting corporate with names, times, dates and address as well.

Like everything else, prices are up. They recently bumped up from $1 to $1.25. While 25 cents doesn't sound like much, 25% puts it into better perspective. It's still a great place to stop for cheapo decor to put guft baskets together. Just be sure to keep in mind that many items are not a value penny to pound, vs standard stores

Dollar tree is awesome for quick cheap disposable items, decorations or diy projects. They have a great selection honestly if you wanted to stock up on cards or quick supplies. I only recently realized though that they charge $1.25 for some of the items!! Still very reasonable but just something I discovered.

The employee at the register was pleasant. The employees were busy stocking shelves, but were working in a clean manner. I used the restroom and it was the cleanest I think no have ever seen it! Thank you for taking care of the restroom!
