I'm a President's Club member, and this is the absolute WORST Avis rental location I've ever dealt with. They are incredibly rude and provide horrible customer service. I will be returning to Minot in the future, and I will definitely make sure to rent from a different company for all of my upcoming visits.

Charged twice for rental…. Mar 23, and 28th, 2023! Local manager could not help me! waited 25 minutes to speak to Avis Service/billing rep. , to file a ticket and to follow up again, 20 minute wait! Avis website is inefficient!8 days after filing a Ticket, I have not been credited for the overcharge……

Messed up my reservation, charged me for two days not 14 hours. They said they could not change anything or help me at the desk. See the reviews these people before booking your next car.

I have used Avis multiple times in the past at different locations. The service was great. However; at Minot ND, they are terrible.On 07/18/22 , I flew from Boston on a business trip. (Around 5:00Pm). When I went to counter, the Rep informed me that there was no car available for my reservation. He was laughing as it was funny. There was no accountability at all. So disrespectful. I requested a copy of the cancelation. The guy laughed again and said he doesn't have it and can't provide it. I asked for his business card. Again, he laughed and claimed not to have it. Then, I asked for his name. Again, he laughed and said that he was the manager and refused to provide it. He claimed everything will be alright. If his name is needed, Avis can contact him for it.Well Avis, you got to take responsibility for your employees actions toward your customers. This is not acceptable. My input will be summited to my organization and I will recommend to stay away from Avis when it comes to Minot ND location.

They are sneaky. I never experienced this with Hertz or Enterprise.I booked for a week trip but the trip got short to 3 days. I inquired whether I need to adjust the reservation or not and they informed me no worries the rate will get adjusted.It sure did because they still charged me for a minimum 5 day requirement where there was no mention of this anywhere. So ended up paying for 6 days cost anyway for 3. I know that fine prints exist and they got me. Jokes on me!However I felt that I should share this so no one goes through this with them. There are still shady businesses out there and Avis is one of them. My first and last time doing business with them.

Had a death in the family and needed a mini van for 9 days. Outrageous pricing compared to the rental companies I usually do business with but was limited to Avis as none of the others had a mini van available and needed it for disabled people traveling with me (Avis knew all this). $262 per day for a preferred member. Had to wait in a line for over an hour on the airport garage to get the vehicle. Never had that long a wait in over 40 years of travel. Hope I never have to use this price gouging, inefficient, uncaring company again!

I found the website to be haphazardly put together like there wasn't a lot of thought put into it. So my area there is not a lot of selections of cars, vans and or trucks which was very disappointing. Also for the selection they did have it was completely overpriced. I think they should really reassess what they're doing and what direction they want to go in.

Hertz next door refused to give me a car. But AVIS got me in a rental car luckily. Great guy!

We were charged for two days when the car was back in less than 24 hours. When I asked for the owners phone number , I was told he couldn’t give it out and I asked for his email. Couldn’t give that out either. Have over $600 out of my checking account right now and still waiting for my money back. Would NOT use this Avis. Hope to save you the headache.

Made a reservation a few months ago. I called to confirm a few weeks prior that everything was still good to go because I was a little concerned with the low reviews and the shortage on rental cars, but everything went really well. We were helped by a very friendly gentleman at the counter at both the pickup and drop-off, and everything went pretty smooth.

Absolutely terrible service. They actually gave my car away, and there were no other cars to rent in this town. I have never had this happen to me before. Extremely unprofessional, will never use Avis ever again.

Nobody at the desk upon returning vehicle during business hours and was double charged for a reservation I had already paid for. Definitely go with another rental company.

Booked a car reservation approximately 3 weeks ago. I was notified today, 1 day prior to my reservation, that Avis gave away all the cars on the lot and would not be able to fulfill my reservation. Didn't offer any sort compensation for the hassle now going through to find another rental on short notice. Highly suggest going through any other rental service before considering Avis.
