Last night I bought some beveled retaining wall bricks and it was only an hour before closing. When I got back there, they were out of one of the three blends I had purchased. I loaded one set of 25 by myself, and was down to a half hour before closing. Two employees with forklifts came to my assistance and after explaining that one of the ones I purchased was not there, one of the employees went to check somewhere else, and the other went to the front of the store to get a ticket for a different blend. So I ended up with the same amount, but just had to settle for a different color. Which was totally fine with me. Both were extremely helpful and helped me to load my 50 remaining bricks in the dark...lol... with the aid of the forklift lights and my puny pocket flashlight, even being careful to help me get ones that were whole (no chunks missing) and ones that had the whole entire ridge so that they set nice on top of the rows when assembling them. With their help and expertise, I was soon on my way and made it out 10 minutes before they closed. I did not catch their names, but they came through again when the gate attendant counted and realized that I was 1 brick short. While I was inside sorting out my picking tickets for inventory, they went and got me one more brick. They even figured out which color had the missing brick. I had bought three colors and due to the dark, they didn't get stacked according to color in my pickup box. Pretty amazing! I'm thankful and grateful for their help and appreciate it so much. Thank you!

Not one to submit reviews like this. But im thoroughly dissatisfied with my experience. Ive been in the store 3 times looking for silicone or soft plastic scrapers. I was directed to several departments. Upon getting to those departments, I was directed to the department I was just at prior to. I even called ahead to verify they had them. The employee that found them on my 3rd visit was kind, helpful and understanding.
In addition, I needed patio furniture and had to call for assistance while IN the store to get employee assistance. I hate shopping online but may have no choice given the amount of time and visits needed to find a 1 dollar item.

Horible experience and what i witnessed. Never have I seen managers yell at their employees like that. Some things should be left private. Not only that but employees are under trained and not very helpful. They would rather stand around and talk about drugs with each other then learn about what they sell. Prices are fair and store was clean but whoever runs this place needs to work on things.

HORRIBLE store...don't waste your time. Bought water heater that lasted less than 2 years. Flooded basement so ran down late one evening and grabbed new one. Installed and good to go. Manufacturer said it should be covered by warranty but Menards won't honor. Went down on weekend with faulty one to square it up but didn't have receipt S changed debit card so they say can't lookup. Had card account printout to Menards and datw but still wouldnt help me.Told if got proof of pur hase they would help with warranty. Week later got proof of pur hase and go back and now wont uphold warranty as they say newer one is bigger and more expensive so won't honor warranty. Apparently they want you to buy same garbage so they can duck out on another warranty when it breaks in less than 2 years again. Pathetic store!!! And of course no way to get ahold of live person on a weekend from corporate.

Terrible customer service. Water heater lasted less than 2 years. Manufacturer says under warranty but Menards won't do anything unless you buy exact same model. Won't contribute anything towards larger one. Only way to get warranty is get same piece of junk so N flood basement again.

It's ok except for their business model everything is a mail in rebate and takes up to 8 weeks to get. Not everyone can afford to layout money and wait 2 months to get it back. Just give us a discount without having to do things that businesses did 20 plus years ago. Get with the times.

Awesome place as always. Usually have what I’m after & in a few different options. Most of the staff is pretty decent & don’t mind helping you. There are a couple different ways of getting into this location making your flow of travel much smoother. So far so good with the place. No complaints.
