Jamestown Reservoir Beach is the perfect beach day spot! There is plenty of parking and beach spots for everyone. We found the water to be pleasant too. It wasn't full weeds, but just some smaller pebbles. Families will appreciate the sand being a little more course, while not as cushioned as fine sand, it cleans up really well. Also, the scenery is quite pleasing too, very typical of the Drift Plains ecoregion of North and South Dakota.Restrooms were available nearby as of writing this review.

When we visited it was a very nice day with 0 other people on the beach. We had a nice time walking around the beach and the surrounding trails.
